Mine just shipped today, love that larue always sends some cool swag. I ordered the green mro from larue and they basically give you the mount for free, I will always buy my optics from then.
Like you I don't like having my optic mount over the ejection port. Many years ago I dropped a rifle on it's optic onto concrete with the bolt locked to the rear. It ended up bending the top rail down about a 1/16 of and inch right above the port. I had to replace my upper and never did that again.
relaxfoo negative, everything is rock solid. I actually have it mounted on a sig mpx now. If I was to do it again I might not consider the cantilever mount because it looks a little awkward on a long gun. but looks sweet on the sig
nice mount. the dot is out of focus why its so big, focus on the dot and will be the size you see in person. Love my MRO have it on american defense 1/3 QD FDE love it
I bought one in Dec, still waiting on the tax stamp to be approved. I was kinda reluctant because it being a 9 inch can but it doesn't look that huge on your ar15.
Blue Loctite is no good for those little tiny screws. Especially not being able to get an Allen key in the back screws very well. The blue Loctite is stronger than the fine aluminum threads on the scope housing body. If you must use thread lock use the purple for fine threads. Trijicon specs them to be Torqued at 12-15 inch pounds without threadlock. My 2 MRO’s have never loosened up. Just saying!
You know it alls crack me up! I always come to the comment section for expert Operator advise! Ive used my MRO’s in -32 out to 300 yds. I’ve used it in 105+ hot humid temps out beyond 300 yds. No issues whatsoever! Maybe your talking about Extreme temps on another planet. Like perhaps the planet you came from.

Thanks for the video. This is the first I have seen showing this mount and it has solidified which mount I will go with.
I ordered this two weeks ago but its back ordered! Just waiting patiently.
Looks so sick! I'm so torn between this and their other model!
Nice 5.56. Picking up my 7.62 this morning.
so what?
Really thinking of grabbing the MRO / Larue Mount combo from their homepage. How are you liking the mount still?
Looks like a nice mount!
well worth the wait! solid mount, looks awesome, return to zero everytime
+Kameron A Looks like a winner! I'm probably getting this as well. I like the 'care package' from LaRue. Whats the dillo dust? Thanks!

Any updates are the mounting screws loosening or any regrets that you did not get a more robust mount?

damn, I don't know which mount to order.

anyone use it with night vision yet?
How do you like the MRO and cantilever combo? Do you run it far forward or did you end up moving it closer?
Phillip Wellendorf actually moved it to a sig mpx czcams.com/video/G-RPg5p7qn4/video.html
I meant your preferred distance of the MRO from your eye, but that SBR got me quite distracted for a hot minute.
Is that the specwar 762 on your rifle?
Bingo; )

cantilever mounts are designed to be used in conjunction with a nvd not to enhance situational awareness...added bonus I guess if it's valid
And to look cool.
Someone should do a torture test with the mount and mro on it 👀

Nice rifle.
Try it in extreme temps and watch the red dot lose zero
Peter Gun when you say extreme weather do you mean like 90° and -0°. what extremes high to low do you mean?
P Gal rated -60 to 160
DDM4Prepper even here in Texas it doesn't reach 170f...
DDM4Prepper yes, aimpoints and mro are the way to go. leave it on for years, always ready to go

Nice if you like looking throw a straw....I'll stick with my EOTech EXPS2-2
Sounds like you're just salty because you're using a sight that can't handle the abuse or extreme temperatures unlike the MRO
Peter Gun I've owned eotech, aim point and trijicon. all comes to preference but this doesn't feel like a tube like the compm4 aimpoint I had
