Absolutely mindblowing. Some would even say Casino Royale is the best movie in the series. Trust me, you will definitely feel like playing some poker after this movie. They have given importance to every little detail.The expressions of the players and also the audience during the game was awesome.

@@Shawn_Dark_Heart when I year goldeneye all I can think of is the game on N64 I have three brothers so we all had are own controller we put the game to work son! Some of my best memories with my brothers are because to this game.

I have to say that Skyfall is the best with Casino Royale a close 2nd. Always had a soft spot for Goldfinger, the first Bond movie I saw.

IRL former government operative who became a best-selling novelist.
Casino Royale is the first Bond novel and introduction to this legendary series, published in 1953 aka "The spy novel to end all spy novels".
Aka Bond 21, it's director Martin Campbell's 2nd in the series after Goldeneye (1995).
After 40 plus years and 20 films later, filmmakers wanted to bring 007 back to the essence.
Daniel Craig is the best Bond since the late, great Sean Connery.
All so good as fully connected and well envisioned.
There is so many things that connect to Bond's legend and for a lot of people, this was the utmost introduction.
Dame Judi Dench as M in a 2nd set of films in a long-running tenure of the character.
The Aston Martin is his signature vehicle and having 2 of them (classic and modern) was such a good idea.
The late Chris Cornell with the theme "You Know My Name" is top-tier 007 music.
Even if you saw the older films or not, Craig's era was a breath of fresh air.
Finally someone, who shares my opinion: My No. Bond will always be Connery, closely followed by Daniel Craig. 👍
It's good to remember that the next James (Daniel Craig) Bond films have references to previous films, so for the next ones to make more sense, it's interesting to watch the previous ones first and the next ones in order of release.
Note that each James Bond movie has a theme song that is part of the soul of the movie and that makes many remember the films because of them.
If your going watch James Bond movies you need to go back and and watch Dr. No. Its the very first one and has Sean Connery, the original and best 007.
Oh Casino Royale is one of my top 3 favorite 007 James Bond movies! But Skyfall… which after this one… is my most favorite out of top 3! And I you ladies enjoy Skyfall after Casino Royale!

I'd love to go there. I've been lucky enough to visit Bond locations in UK, Greece, Italy, Thailand, France, Spain, Germany and the Caribbean but have never been to the Czech Republic yet.
The thing is with Mathis, Bond realized that he told only two people about LeChiffre's tell, Vesper and MATHIS. He figured out that he told LeChiffre about it.

As a huge fan of James Bond I'm very happy that you enjoyed Casino Royale as it kick started the Daniel Craig era as it was a few years after the Pierce Brosnan era and Goldeneye was the first 007 film I remember seeing and started seeing the other Brosnan 007 films and started owing all the bond films and Sean Connery was brilliant.
As a Bond fan, watching this movie when it came out in theaters was one of the best movie-going experiences that I've had. Glad you two enjoyed it!

Great reaction to one of the best James Bond movies ever. I hope that you’ll not only continue with the next in the Daniel Craig/James Bond movies; but also that you’ll into the earlier Bond classics that star Sean Connery, George Lazeby, Sir Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan l.
Daniel Craig’s portrayal of Bond (as well as Timothy Dalton’s) are the closest to what Ian Fleming envisioned in the books, IMO.
No argument, and I always liked Dalton's Bond. But after initially objecting to Connery, whom he thought was all wrong, Fleming changed his mind after seeing Dr. No and liked him so much he changed the character to fit him better.
Timoty Dalton was in many ways the "prototype" for the Craig version of Bond. I wonder how more films with him could have been. That being said, I have a weak spot for Pierce Brosnan as well. But he certainly starred in a "tacky" period of Bond films.
ahh I do hope the girls do go back to the Sean Connery films also, and I had to laugh when Ellie said "is that a toilet" oooh boy the faces you girls make are priceless
I really didn't think Craig was the right pick at the time..But I gotta admit, his rugged take on Bond, with a action-hero type body and the wildest fight/chase scenes Id ever seen in any 007 film won me over big-time. Casino Royale was voted the G.O.A.T Bond movies in a utube poll last year. ( Note they still haven't found anyone to replace him yet..he will be a very tough act to follow.) I knew you'd love it!!

One of the best Bond films, with Daniel Craig being one of the best Bond actors of all time. Mads Mikkelsen and Giancarlo Gianninia, two fine actors, also appeared in different versions of Hannibal.

My favorite part of this 007 movie is that crazy beginning foot chase! That was really something.

Don't listen to the movie with only one side of the headset, it's not the same, it's like listening to the movie in mono, you miss the stereo surround feeling, but you can still hear what you are talking to each other with both headphones on.

This is a great Bond film for sure. I think Skyfall is the best one though.
If you like Eva Green you can enjoy her more extensively in the movie "Dreamers", although I don't know where you could watch it, because it contains nudity and some mild sex scenes
