I just got home after being away for a week and no Wi-Fi . I have always been a cry baby and always will be. I got a little weeping today and can’t even remember what it was. It will take me so long to get caught up. I need to look at all the new releases. Wish me luck. I went and got my wildflowers set and it is sitting right here beside me waiting to see your card design.
Stunning card, Amy. I love silhouette cards as they make such an impact. You have mentioned trolls in past lives and I’m just blown away about how nasty people can be. Maybe on a channel that produces controversial content but on a CARD MAKING channel???? California has a “confidential marriage.” that has been on the books since the 1800’s. This was for scalawags from the east who came out to the west (Gold Rush)then became pillars of their communities who didn’t want it known that they hadn’t married before having families. An officiant performs a ceremony and the records are sealed…no public record. My husband and I did that (you have to live together a minimum of years). We didn’t have kids but we wanted to bypass the blood test that was still required at that time (40 years ago).

Yes sometimes it's a mistake, most of the time it isn't. I have been doing this full time for over a decade now - I have many little haters out there but engagement is engagement and I don't let it get to me I just point it out as I prefer not to sugarcoat things to myself nor to my audience

When you place the folded card on the inside of the card, it looked amazing. But my question is, how did you not get ink on the back of the card? Or should I ask, did you get any in on the back? I would’ve been scared that all the ink you had in the misty got on the pretty clean card.
there wasn't any ink to get on there so I'm not sure what you mean. I didn't press any ink onto the grip mat but if I had I would have wiped it off :)

@@beatrizaguillon1596 ahhh - yeah you just need to make sure the inside of the Misti is clean - OR just put down a piece of copy paper before putting your card base in if you’re making an inky mess bc that happens ;)

I thought you had to get or purchase the ticket and. You pick it up at the door. Not one they send out for the make and takes. Thought they were limiting those wanting to do the make and takes. I live like 60 miles from Columbus and as you know the tickets sold out fast.
