To all the people saying they can hear the lyrics : Well yes, but actually no. The comp was made with the lyrics in mind as the music actually changes pitch very slightly at the places where the lyrics occur. This is to occompany and sort of harmonise with the lyrics when you are listening to the song and is barely noticable with the lyrics. However this becomes extremely obvious once the lyrics have been removed, and when in a place where the lyrics are more profound such as the chorus.

The motifs in calamity are so good. The motif that is present in 'almost' every post moonlord boss is wonderful. Raw unfiltered calamity contains all the motifs of the bosses before it. The 2nd and 3rd interlude songs hint at the upcoming bosses. The yharim/infernal catharis motif playing in universal collapse, but only in nonstop mix. It is all so goood
At the “This is my message to my master” part I can hear dokuro’s voice singing the words, if you listen closely you probably will hear it too. Maybe it’s my mind? I think that it’s the song with the words on like 1 volume compared to the instruments with like 100:1 volume

This is really cool. I can appreciate the absolutely FIRE instrumentation of this track outside of that one part with the guitar. Seriously the guitar goes HARD the whole song, as do the drums. And for the first time I'm picking up on that bell motif he likes to sneak into a lot of the later bosses. Thanks for making this!
At first this version felt quite empty to listen to, but over time I've grown to really enjoy it. Not that this is better than the lyrical version, I think they're enjoyable in their own ways. It's so creepy how I can really quietly fill in the lyrics, and I can tell it's in my head and not in the song because sometimes it puts them out of order
I love how dm dokuro always puts these kind of chimes that you hear in every single video, some may think the chimes just make the songs sort of repetetive but it truly shows how good the song is.
So what's strange to me is that at 1:53 there's a sort of background harmony going on with what I think is the calamity bells™(it's in the left ear) that is so soft that it almost doesn't exist. Don't know why it's there, it gets so covered up by the drums and rythym.

turned the volume on my headphones to 100 (loud enough to make my ears bleed out) and couldnt hear it. its your brain filling in the words for you when you think about the lyrics. kinda funny.
