5 Wochen lang sind wir zu zweit per Rad 900 km durch die Bundesstaaten Kerala und Tamil Nadu gefahren. Wir haben die Vielfalt der Landschaften, die Freundlichkeit der Menschen, das leckere Essen und die reiche Geschichte bewundert. Es war eine Reise, die wir nie vergessen werden. Und sie war abenteuerlich, manchmal auch etwas zu abenteuerlich.
Süd Indien war eine fantastische Erfahrung für uns.
Wir radelten durch Teeplantagen, Reisfelder, Palmenhaine und Dörfern weit abseits von Touristenrouten. Wir genossen die Gastfreundschaft der Menschen, die uns mit Neugier und Freundlichkeit begegneten. Und mit dem Radl unterwegs ist man, natürlich, überall herzlich willkommen.
Dabei haben wir die vielfältige Kultur, Natur und Geschichte dieser Region kennengelernt, die uns immer wieder überrascht und begeistert hat.

Cycling in the south of India
For 5 weeks, the two of us cycled 900 km through the states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. We admired the diversity of landscapes, the friendliness of the people, the delicious food and the rich history. It was a trip we will never forget. And she was adventurous, sometimes a little too adventurous.
South India was a fantastic experience for us.
We cycled through tea plantations, rice fields, palm groves and villages far off the tourist routes. We enjoyed the hospitality of the people who treated us with curiosity and friendliness. And of course you are welcome everywhere by bike.
We got to know the diverse culture, nature and history of this region, which always surprised and thrilled us.

भारत के दक्षिण में साइकिल चलाना
5 सप्ताह तक, हम दोनों ने केरल और तमिलनाडु राज्यों में 900 किमी साइकिल चलाई। हमने परिदृश्यों की विविधता, लोगों की मित्रता, स्वादिष्ट भोजन और समृद्ध इतिहास की प्रशंसा की। यह एक ऐसी यात्रा थी जिसे हम कभी नहीं भूलेंगे। और वह साहसी थी, कभी-कभी कुछ ज्यादा ही साहसी।

5 saptaah tak, ham donon ne keral aur tamilanaadu raajyon mein 900 kimee saikil chalaee. hamane paridrshyon kee vividhata, logon kee mitrata, svaadisht bhojan aur samrddh itihaas kee prashansa kee. yah ek aisee yaatra thee jise ham kabhee nahin bhoolenge. aur vah saahasee thee, kabhee-kabhee kuchh jyaada hee saahasee.
dakshin bhaarat hamaare lie ek shaanadaar anubhav tha.
hamane chaay ke baagaanon, chaaval ke kheton, taad ke pedon aur paryatak maargon se door gaanvon mein saikil chalaee. hamane un logon ke aatithy ka aanand liya jinhonne hamaare saath jigyaasa aur mitrataapoorn vyavahaar kiya. aur nihsandeh aapaka har jagah baik se svaagat hai.
hamen is kshetr kee vividh sanskrti, prakrti aur itihaas ke baare mein pata chala, jo hamen hamesha aashcharyachakit aur romaanchit karata tha.
