- Let's cut open three chunky agates open on my 10" Hi Tech diamond saw!! I cut these agates open for Isaac and was so excited because all three of these agates ended up being studs!

A portal of light to heaven
First one....check it with a LW and SW UV light, well known site for fluorescence! Second one, this agate formed in a crystallized calcite pocket, then calcite weathered away, leaving the negative forms, called epimorphs, on the outside of the agate!

That first cut Condor agate is Gorgeous! Haven't seen one for a LONG time but it looks like maybe a Fire Agate? And you say it looked like it was lit up on the inside. I agree. Fabulous! The third one is also just marvelous! My favorite is the second one! Definitely. Thank you for sharing this session!
I would say it wasn't a fire agate, fire agates are not banded and have more unique features. Such a good group of agates though!
I know I'm not the majority but I don't think I could have cut these open... They were fabulous pieces they way they were imo... Still love them don't get me wrong and I love the shock and aw especially the color!
Flow channels are so cool looking.
That third one REALLY surprised me, I was totally expecting orange in there lol. It's so pretty. They are all so pretty!

I love the outside of the second Agate. Agates are my favourite and I like how you can use this both sides sides.
These are beautiful agates! The Condor agate looks like a swimming pool with the beautiful quartz in the middle. The second agate looks like there's a flame in the middle. The shape of the last agate looks like a pork chop to me with a gorgeous core! 🩵🩵🩵
Blue, orange, and yellow (outside) ghostly (inside) agates - those are absolutely stunning!!!

I am OBSESSED with the 2nd and 3rd ones. I live in Northeast Iowa and have a couple small ones that have the same coloration and clarity. Would love to know where this one comes from and what it's called!

I have a love hate relationship with watching your cutting videos ..I love seeing what the rocks look like but hate that I cant cut my own rocks Ive found here in my yard or at the rhein river... crazy how hard it is to find a saw here in Germany to cut rocks.... Wish I had your saw! Anyway thanks for posting as always those were some GORGEOUS rocks !!

I live on the shores of Georgian Bay in Ontario Canada and as soon as we have a nice sunny day (with no wind) I'm going to go and look for some amazing rocks and then take them to the rock shop in town. The second one might also be a Condor Agate. Other possibilities would be Brazilian Agate or Moctezuma Agates. They were all great to see. Thanks.

Have lots of fire agate and a few other types how do you know what way to cut the agate to get the most dramatic coloring? And I have some that have sparkles in them if I polish them will that sparkle be lost?

So beautiful agate have a blue and orange red in the middle the rarest and perfect stone but I have agate and red jasper

Now that you have run the 10" Hi-Tech saw for some time, what are your thoughts on the notched blade that comes with it?I haven't seen you run it, just the sintered blade. I just got this saw but haven't started using it yet. Do you always run them in the same direction? Thanks.
