Enough respect to those who sail across the oceans in the early days and the middle ages.
Of course they should get that respect!😊
@Don't Shoot I mean wood vs steel.. was wayyyyy more common to lose ships back then
@@averyisaiah1 for even trying to go into unknown territory is bravery at the highest order.
actually, they sail closer to the shorelines, if you look at earlier maps, it shows they were sailing close by
Excellent video , I would prefer it without music though ..just the sound of the ocean 🦾🦾
Sailed many times from USA to Japan the weather Gods were with you. We nearly sank and had our life jackets on ready to abandon ship 😮😮😮🌊🌊🌊🏴☠️🤷♂️ worst weather I’d ever been in. Been all around the world 44 years at sea Bon Voyage and calm seas
Thank you for sharing your experience!

Love you Jen 😚💕🤗💕💕🤗,🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
@@SumitAtSea how many days usa to japan?
@@SumitAtSea oh your video is Amazing .....but one thing is true...I can never get this experience (a tour in ship) ....so i am worrying about it....😭😭
From 1973 till 1993 twenty long years crossed Pacific to and from Japan and West coast US/Canada and mostly in winter time, confronted severe storms all the time, life was terrible on board log ships, always heart on the lip situation. That was life we enjoyed too at the age of 77 years i reminicsent
@Don't Shoot Remembering being young and life's adventures, when you're old. You won't understand until you get older.
@Don't Shoot only on board log ships
USA to Japan 🗾🗾🗾
Must have been miserable been around you, it doesn't seem that you enjoyed it, rather just endured it somehow. :-(. I loved my time at sea as 3rd and 2nd officer of the deck. Beautiful desolation of the open ocean, adventure of the storms, visiting foreign and faraway places...Some love this life, like me, lots of are unfortunately miserable.
Japanese 🍡🍙
As with truckers, thank you for all that you and the crew have done! You guys make the world work.
They do make the current world work but that’s not necessarily a good thing. Without such widespread global shipping I think people would ironically be more food secure and have stronger local economies. Not to mention there would be a lot less sweatshops and horrible working conditions for people working to produce goods for the developed nations. Not to mention more jobs in those nations.

@@SumitAtSea how much did it cost you ?? Fair charges including all your expenses for 10 days
I can't imagine playing cricket on a ship. Must have been a great experience.
@Don't Shoot Dawg shut the hell up
@Don't Shoot seeing it on a video and actually being there doing it are different.
Me too!😁
YES WE PLAYED A LOT AND GOLF ALSO ON ULCC .
It must be like we latvieši say for driving. When a walker finally gets a car of his own of the joy of driving nothing is left. A tourist would be very excited by everything on a ship, sailors dont care, its normal to them.
This brings back some memories. Sailing through the straights of Juan de Fuca for hours and hours where it's as still as a sheet of glass and then greeted by monster waves the minute you hit the Pacific. Nothing better than spending days (or weeks) at sea and finally reaching land. That feeling you get when you finally set foot on soil again - so nice. And after weeks of heavy seas, the sea legs kick in so you end up walking goofy during the port visit.
Pacific Ocean is sacred
So true about the sea legs!

When I was a kid in the 1960's we use to watch these ships from Japan come to the ports in Kalama via the Columbia River. My dad was stationed in Japan during WWII, so it was interesting for him. It is fun to see how long these ships had to sail to get there and home. Thank you!
Good to hear that. Thanks for watching!
The way how the tugboat and carrier synced autopilot together was amazing!
Cricket 🏏 in middle of the ocean 🌊 wow 😍🔥
Hume bhi mauka mile
Watch this video.. feeling back to young days as a seaferer.. really touching in my heart
Thanks for the awesome video! As a shipping agent I spend the whole week going on board vessels, and seeing this makes it easier for me to put myself in the shoes of the people I work with. Cheers!
Loved the time lapses. Those skies😍
Glad you like them!
@@SumitAtSea thank you too.sir.👍

Fantastic video, perfect editing, it was what I was looking for
It must feel fantastic to arrive in port and dock. You have my respect for sure.

こんな大きな船が川を航行するとは思いもしなかった。
Stationed in Yokosuka japan as US Navy…. Yeah this brings back some memories. Missed this
Love this! Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thank you for keeping the rest of us well supplied. Take care and God Speed. I will say a prayer for the safety of your ship, your crew, and yourself.
Watching your videos, I’m missing my seaman life…. 10 years from cadet until chief engineer…. No more life like that anymore…..

Why did you left sir?
thank you so much for this wonderful recording. it was beautiful.
This is truly incredible to watch.
I worked on 60 k ton cargo ship in 1988 . We hauled corn twice from New Orleans to Chiba Japan through Panama Canal.
Amazing video and amazing job. It is people like you who keep the worlds economy going who keep the supply lines going. Not an easy job but the upside must be you see some amazing sights. Keep safe and thanks for sharing this insight into your job.
The life inside the ship ....
Incredible....
船の中で波に揺られながら外の景色見るの好き
Reminded me of when we went from SF to Nagoya and similarly to the video, our weather across the Pacific was kind to us.
Enjoyed the video, cheers buddy
Been through six container ships and this definitely reminds me about it…

Sehr interessante und schöne Einblicke in so eine Fahrt und das Schiff 👍
One of awesome video i had seen ever... Good sharing thank u a lot 👌👌👍
Day 3,4 & 5 is very tuff one to see..
Voyage in sea is always very risky & moreover if the weather is bad nothing to say... 😙😶
Really felt like a travel in sea
Thanks a ton!
Fantastic. Great respect to the sailors minimum passengers voyagers leaving their motherland to deliver several items including coarse items food grains like rice Wheat Dhall vegetables perishables like Mangoes jackfruit what not and more so for their courage and valor in unruly winds cyclones pirates what not. And more congrats for keeping relationship and understanding with friendly and online conferencing countries and for proper deliver. Thank u my friends.thank u

Thank you for all that you and those in your career do. Please include videos of starry nights if you can. I can only imagine how nice it must seem on clear nights.
Can and ordanary person travel on a cargo ship. You guys are def made from another world.
Yes you can. Not every ship takes passengers. Contact ship agents and see who can take you.
What a great insight!! 👍 Beatiful scenery as well 😍👌
Respect to the people who spend weeks at sea so the rest of us can buy what we want.
I painted that deck on a trip over the Atlantic, and I used a 2-inch brush, in all weather.
Wow ballast condition😮 safe sailing...

THANK U BHAI, FOR THIS
I wouldn't mind heading out to sea again after so many years. I miss the salt air.
My father did task in foreign feder and mother vessels more than 30 years as GS. This is too challenging job as you must face the storm and even you can die in any time.
Thanks for sharing and respect to all who's are doing job in Ship.
I don't think it's dangerous these days. Only one ship sank in the pacific recently and that's because it was loaded really top heavy (a cattle ship).
That thing is movin! Dang, Lt. Dan!
Very nice!
Thanks for sharing!
My Best part is, playing cricket inside ship 🎉
Sports are always good to keep emotions in control..
All the best
That's your idea of the best part? Really? Get up on deck, expand your mind!
