China? I think if they were that concerned about China they would not allow China to buy US land. Why no discussion about AIPAC and their lobbying?

TikTok is terrible for your brain.

Generally, all social media feeds you what interests you. That’s sounds fine, except human behavior is more fascinated with negative narrative (it is more visceral to our psyche).
The combination of that and the resultant echo chambers leads to a lot of misinformation taking root as fact with little to challenge the narrative and balance it out.
Old traditional media would allow for exposure of all sorts of debate… our current time is severely lacking that counter narrative to balance out what people are consistently exposing themselves to.
People are no longer taking into account dialogue from people with differing views to themselves. This creates extremes in polarization.
It’s really something of a global problem… but the States with its bi-party system, perhaps is much more primed for the polarization than most.
      At least, that’s my understanding.
By the way all social media (including western ones) do this. But perhaps TikTok leans more into feeding and incentivizing viewers into more of what they like.
Personally, (on all my social media) l try “train” my digital profile by deliberately viewing a wide variety of material (including some things which l myself do not necessarily subscribe to).
