Compared to this, all the other problems will seem a little trifle. If we do nothing now, in 5-7 years it will be impossible to live on the planet. There is a solution and a way out, but we need to take action. Only when billions speak out, the scientists, presidents and the media will hear us. I feel more emotion for a golden retriever than for humans talked about on this night. No one came close to get pity from me, but to see that dog rescued and see him recover filled me with emotion that I would not have for my fellow man. AND IM OKAY WITH THAT.
I think people can start getting numb to these things. They happen so often or can have the feeling of "what's new" I can relate to what this guy is saying but you make a good point also. You're born to die and God has your back or a higher power, something, when your times up it's up. It's just a really shitty way for it to happen & it leaves alot of damage for others which really sucks also. I feel really bad for the family and community left behind and just hope it was as quick & painless as humanly possible. Animals can give a love humans can't an unconditional love so for me I'm able to feel a much stronger love and trust for animals than a human regardless were a human may fall in the situation. I still feel for them don't get me wrong but animals are usually less able to defend themselves than humans or adult ones at least, they can't protect themselves as much.

Let volunteer, armed and trained grandparents patrol inside the schools to protect the kids. I tried to establish this at my grandson's school. The school board said NO WAY. This is why kids are getting killed in schools. The powers that be, won't let us protect them. Schools are gun-free zones. Then why is it in schools the kids are getting killed? Gun-free zoning DOESN'T WORK!
