“I’m like Detroit red in a zoot suit, loose screws.” Is a reference to Malcom X when he was younger, he’d straighten his red hair hence why they called him Red and wear zoot suits. He was drugged out and pimping woman at the time and in his autobiography he said he was unhinged and ended up in jail before finding Allha and becoming the Malcom X that we know. It’s a really clever line that went under the radar

Nas came with heavy bars in this. It wasn't the craziest verse, but it was a nice verse for sure. I and Nas shook hands at Lollapalooza 2014. I was close to the stage when I saw him perform live. I was turnt off life when I saw and heard him perform live certain songs. I will never forget that. Nas is one of my fav and one of the greatest rappers ever. I've been a fan since the early or mid 2000s. I can't remember. A long time for sure.

Wayne is one of the GOATs for a lot of reasons. The ONLY big criticism I have with Wayne is... his bars are probably the nastiest; but most of the time his bars aren't cohesive with each other. So they stick out being independent instead of leading him somewhere in a song. It is probably because he free styles his songs and doesn't write them out. We will never know how he gets alpha to omega in a song haha.

I’m talking about how Wayne’s back to back bars leading into punch lines are individually sick verses. But then you put them back to back (still both cool independently), but when you listen to them in the song they have no relative meaning to each other. I think that’s where most rappers just put a filler verse that’s still sorta on topic. But Wayne just decides to put two sick simile punch lines back to back with absolutely no meaning to each other. They just rhyme, sound good, and both were similes/ or double entendres.

I grew up in prime time Wayne. Mixtapes every year, featured on every poppin song, full albums every few years. I’ll admit he fell off for a second with stuff like prom queen and the over use of auto tune. But he’ll always be in my top 10. The real legends are the ones who don’t have to keep rapping but they do anyways because they love it. Em, Wayne, jay, nas. While rappers like Mel chill on the sidelines with his one hit song just hating on everyone.

I disagree with Wayne cooking Nas. Nas had three different flows his verse had more depth. Wayne got into a great pocket and had a better cadence. That said I got to give this to Nas but they both spazzed out. Not to mention that Nas had the same flow and cadence Wayne used on this song for his song that he just dropped with 50. That said Stevie you should react to superhero status that’s song is fire. Nas spazzed out
