Another great stream Ocean, very entertaining and as a non medic I thought you did really well. Can I give you feedback from an ex critical care paramedic? I thought you did really well and I only have feedback on the first call, as soon as you detect a heamothorax you should immediately apply sealing dressings to any wounds into the chest (the ones that seal on one side but leave an open side) attempt needle decompression as a paramedic that’s all you’d really do irl, you’d them scoop and run. Your SOP’s seem to give paramedics much more lee way and you can do procedures usually reserved for advanced and critical care paramedics, so you should insert a chest drain. Locate the fifth intercostal space (space between the ribs) in hospital you’d give local but in an emergency situation you’d proceed straight to making a 3-5cm incision. As your in the field and it’s life and death no time for slow fancy procedures so take your finger and push through the tissue until you pop into the plural space (space around the lungs) you should then slide a chest drain tube along your finger and into the space. Next from your chest drain kit take the beaker and half fill with saline attach the lid and insert the end of the tube into the saline. You will see it start to bubble and drain any fluid if successful. So there’s the procedure for you for next time, interestingly I think your improvised solution would probably work but you do risk causing further bleeding into the plural space doing that. Extremely entertaining as always Ocean, if you don’t want feedback just let me know I won’t take offence. Love you John/Katherine
Hello Ocean, your such a great person i really do look up to you, i’ve wanted to always become a firefighter in your server but sadly i’m only 13 lol, one day i will join and have a great roleplay with you and you make me so happy, some days i wish i could donate to you but sadly due to my age and money problems i can’t but just know i’ll always love and support you!❤️
Funny story i was leo on this call and it was reported as a male in a garbage can so i came to see what was going on. When arriving on scene i told the guy to leave and 2 more came out and they tried to jump me so i shot all 3 of them. :eyes:
dear god seeing glen so awkward with samara was priceless, that was me during highschool xD keep it up hopefully i can catch one of these live sometime

Hey, do u guys have some files/protocols/documents for Ems? Cause i think not everybody in SAFR as probie knows everything so i think Silver did something like this. Let me ask differently: how does ems training look like?
Also, I was wondering: do civilians have some “victim training”? Haha i mean something so they know what type of injuries they can have and what things they have to think about(not everybody knows that hemothorax is, right?) when Paramedics are treating them(like they wanna know what code blue means, what BPM is normal, what thing could happen inside/outside their bodies etc). I think u know what I mean. (Also I know that u are for some time in SAF but still I’m amazed by your (and Silver’s) knowledge about EMS even tho you’re a CZcamsr, not an actual first responder Love the vids
@@OneOceanTenOfficial Oh great! I was just wondering because there is a PD Officer that sounds just like Ripley. Thought that there may have been some correlation between the 2.
As a Medic I can personally tell you, only a Doc can perform chest tubes. And not through the bullet holes. A medic can decompress pneumothorax but it’s generally pointless to try to relieve a hemothorax (blood) with decompression needles on a scene.
And it’s load and go with trauma as well because they need surgery. Unless in cardiac arrest. Still though the most important thing for a trauma patient is a surgical team in hospital.
I just love it that none of the SAF crew uses the bathroom lol

Yes we have documents and physical training that go hand in hand to teach people in our community what they need to know to Patrol

This is just rp, they don’t always have doctors online. Mostly just medics
@@french2129 I understand what RP is. Just giving them some advise to make the RP more realistic.
