    A 1965 slant 6 225 is almost indestructible very powerful for a 6.
Then years later at the track in Wentzville mo. I ran across a couple of guys that built one. Wow! That thing was quick. I had no idea you could make them that powerful. It was on gasoline. No boost. It is very impressive. This was about 2000.

@Hjfvvdst Was it a Green Lancer? Mark Goodman from Carthage had a 10 sec Lancer he ran on Alky. Super fast car. I bought his engine after he split a cylinder. Here is one of the videos: czcams.com/video/ncLYIUsHXWE/video.html Thanks for watching!

@hyperpak2498 if my memory is right, it was a guy named Mark.
I didn't know him but I had a lot of questions. Ha!
      Smart guy.
That was back in the days of Mopar hill.

@@Hjfvvdst Same guy, wicked fast slant six. They ran a race 5 speed transmission. Mopar Hill?

@hyperpak2498 when you came into the pit side of MAR Wentzville. First thing on the left there was a little hill.
The guys with plenty of money all had Mopars really nice ones. I'm talking nice.
Well I didn't know about it my first trip in.
So I wheeled my Cougar up on the corner of that hill. I drove my car to the track from st.charles mo.
The car was a low budget (for them)
Street race type. I did good for me.
Well 3rd time to the track I've been parking in that same spot each time.
Finally I had gotten to know some other guys at the track and they asked me why do you park on Mopar hill?
They explained those guys probably didn't like it.
Well just so happens that day I was lined up with one of them. I had no idea what they ran et wise. Well, I won that race.
I went back to the pits. Soon one of those guys comes asking about what I was running for an engine. He had a lot of questions and was checking things out real close. I had a nitrous plate as a spacer. Nothing hooked to it. It was a new engine I had built. It did have a real nice set of iron heads, intake and cam.
      From champion racing head service.
Cory a guy that worked there was a cam guy so he knew what the heads intake needed .
Well the Mopar guy thought I was running nitrous. I explained I wasn't and showed him inside everywhere.
Then he thought I was running a stroker.
      I explained it was a 0.030 351 W.
It was funny when everyone else asked me what was said.
Those guys got to know me a little and where pretty cool guys.
I had a lot of fun at that track.
I learned a lot for Mark and a whole bunch of guys there.
I always parked on Mopar hill.
      With a Mercury.
By no means was I fast or quick.
For the times and what I had in my car I did well.
Mark was way faster and quicker than me. Smarter to.

I knew them as bulletproof as a kid - a guy in our pack o' hot rodders had a Dart he was going to drop a 440 into drained the oil out of his and drove it for two days trying to blow it up! Finally gave up the ghost at full throttle in the driveway. Dumb kids, but proved to me it was a sturdy platform, and yours is an awesome example of the possibilities of the engine! Love that rumble!
