I would be surprised if the first person wasn't a 10 year old but much younger like a 7 year old.
I mean, most of the people that play this game are children. Why it's so easy to win with any semblance of strategy, synergy, and planning. I get that there are also people in their late teens, twenties, and beyond that play this game too. But the majority are going to be children given that it's pokemon. Why you see so many people repeat the same mistake over and over, and accuse of cheating due to not understanding how the game's mechanics work; especially for more specialized and scenario based attacks and buffs. But yeah. I'd venture that around 70% of player base is 13 and under.

*Proceeds to use Whirlwind half a dozen times hoping itll work sooner or later*
ok but that suction cups acupressure malamar is actually brilliant
...ly evil
Especially with block and rest
What does suction cups and acupressure do?
@@twoheadedgiantgaming7029 Acupressure raises one of the target's (user or adjacent ally's) stats, chosen at random, by 2 stages, excluding stats at +6. Suction Cups prevents the Pokemon with the ability from being forced out by other Pokemon (it can still be manually switched out, switched out with its own move, or with its own item).
Since switching removes stat changes, fazing a Pokemon out with Whirlwind is a common strategy in singles (especially because of entry hazards, which are more powerful in 6v6 singles due to the amount of switching); Suction Cups prevents that.
The Malamar also has Block, preventing the opponent from switching out; because they recognised that Lugia couldn't actually do anything to Malamar short of getting multiple Aeroblast crits, they used that to set up an absurd amount of stat boosts for Stored Power.
Too bad these players don't have the idea of putting Haze, Topsy Turvy, or Heart Swap, and just put OP damage-dealing moves and some hazard moves.
I like how you're actually putting in non-toxic fights
I prefer those tbh, although im sure they wouldnt get the same amount of views. Theyre a welcome change of pace.

That last guy talking to his salemance made me legit laugh so hard
> Why spam Whirlwind
Aeroblast is a 5-8 PP move and it was that Lugia's only offensive move, he burned all of it trying to kill Malamar
> How did Stored Power hit Yvetal
I missed it too, but other comments pointed it out: Alakazam swapped Ring Target (Mon holding Ring Target can get hit by moves it is immune to) onto Yvetal earlier in the match via Trick. The item stayed there all the way til Malamar showed up and took Yvetal's lunch money.
PART 2: THE EDITING
> Why did Lugia not switch out
Malamar used Block, which prevents Mons from switching out normally. U-Turn and Baton Pass can override Block, but Lugia had neither of those moves.
