    I think using light hooligan makes it really easier in general and impossible to miss by waiting too long ! You can only do it too soon

    Kid monoko has some good cammy tech if you wanna see what she can do with real hooligan setups after target combo > dr back mp > fully charged hooligan dive kick. Works on both recoveries.

    all pretty good tips. another one is to stop using charged hooligan on stun combos, still see so many high-level players doing this and leaving damage on the table

    It's so annoying that you have to give up your turn after a light blockstring. Your tip is great (you should use real lows in blockstrings anyway), but this doesn't work against players who usually press crMK after your block string. You'll ALWAYS be in range for that.

    • @MikeyDLuffy
      @MikeyDLuffy Před 2 měsíci

      Because cr.mks are slower (7 frames is the fastest unless im forgetting an outlier), you actually have time to jump if you know they are mashing cr.mk since there is a 5 frame gap when you end your string with a -2 move.
      Usually this isn't crazy good for every character since some characters don't want to commit to a jump, but with Cammy, you can use your blockstrings to space yourself into a position where her light or medium divekick will be plus on block. If you notice people pressing cr.mk after your lights a lot, try out an instant light dive kick

      @@MikeyDLuffy Good point. I think the issue for me is the RPS in that situation. When they know you're gonna divekick, you get countered as well.

      @@coal_91 yeah agreed. In general it sucks when you feel like you have to RPS on your own offense or else you immediately lose it, but it's nice that Cammy at least has some options outside of Drive rush to potentially keep her offense going.

      @@MikeyDLuffy I played an Aki player yesterday and he pressed stMP after light blockstrings. You can't walk out of it and dont have time to divekick. The only solution I found was to press another crLK after my light blockstring to interrupt him. So crLP, crLK, crLP, crLK as block string. Do you have a better solution?

      @@coal_91Diamond 2 cammy here so take what I say with a pinch of salt. From what i can tell, it seems st lp gives more push back than cr lp. So maybe spam that in light combos to get more space to shimmy.
      That or use perfect parry. Since you know they press a button after your block string ends. After your string is done, press parry to get a perfect parry

    My current problem is that I have trouble doing instant-divekick on the player 1 side cause I use a gamepad. It's very easy on player 2 side since I can flick the stick with my thumb like 2nd nature. It's a lot fiddlier on player 1 side :/
