Not a bad way to remember so long as you have two pipes of the same radius that you can do this trick on. Most times this won't be the case.

Its a thumbs down from me...not enough information on how to center the drill bit so that it's not on one side. This is about the brand not the method. Perhaps more time could have been spent on how the center the drill bit on the cylinder i.e using a steel rule as shown on Y.T. here there's lot of videos.
