Superb performance of a composition by my favorite composer, especially in light of the fact that I have heard it butchered so many times.

I thought that this was great until I heard the Kocsis - Rankj version. It blows this out of the water. It's on CZcams. Kocsis is always spelled the same way, spellings of his partner's name seems to vary a bit. Differing alphabets don't have one to one correlations.
Kocsis had a very successful solo career and his partner was no slouch.

I have heard dozens of versions of this and you are utterly correct. Kocsis - Rankj version is superb. These two girls' version also but your recommendation debunked my years-old beliefs. Thank you very much indeed.
