Learning new skills with ICM, is this art and/or photography..?

Have you ever tried to do things differently, well watch this.. I learn how to create photo's using Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). Thank you for this video.
During the day a ND filter is very helpful. I normally don’t chimp but I chimp a lot when doing ICM. I never know what the image will look like before I press the shutter. If I don’t like the result I change the shutter speed and repeat. Lots of trial and error.
I like about 2-5% of my images. Lots of errors. I don’t want too much blur. I strive to have some element in the frame identifiable. This means initially I keep the camera still. This is a work in progress. ICM is a lot of fun.

For a swirl/zoom combo try holding the barrel of the lens steady and then rotate the camera body around it.

ICM is certainly a different approach, but not really new. I had already followed one of the Freeman Patterson's techniques from his book, 'Photography and Art of Seeing' book photographed trees while jumping up and down over four decades ago.
