The shiekh should have said that the self flagellation and blood letting is completely forbidden, and NOT because it looks bad to the outside, but because self harm is forbidden in Islam, and it’s not productive, this is why people donate blood instead

If you want to learn about Islam, then READ about it. Read multiple sources. Read the autobiography of its founder Muhammad. Read the history of how Islam was and is spread. Read the history of the attitude towards those who try to leave. Listen to Imams preach about the Qur'an and hadiths. Thats is how you learn.

Can you give the reference of the incident that Imam Hussain went to euphrates for water along with the Zuljanah and he put his hand in water and heard a voice that all your companions martyred thirsty so he didnt drink and went back to the camp as shown in this video at 42:00 minute. I have never heard this incident in any masayab. Thank you.

I would like to say that the reason you have not heard that in any majlis could be because Imam Hussain (A.S) didn't go to the river, it was Mola Ghazi Abbas who went to the river to get water for the thirsty children and Bibi Sakina (R.A) but he and Zuljinah (I've heard that Mola Abbas had his own horse and took it into the field when he did but I'm not sure whether he took Zuljinah or his own horse) didn't drink the water because how could they drink water when their master Imam Hussain (A.S) and the children at the camp are thirsty? So Mola Abbas took out the water bag Bibi Sakina (R.A) gave him and filled it with water. He then got onto his horse and rode towards the tents when the Yazidi army (A Million Curses upon them) who had run away regrouped as they knew if water reached the camp then they would have already lost.
I'm sure you know what happened next....
