Hi Riley! This just popped up on my CZcams. I was there for the taping. I just called Hovis and told him I saw this and he told me you are Pete's son!! Tell your dad it's Katie Barry Hovis old girlfriend. Many great time spent with your dad as he was so much fun to hang out with and such a true kind friend. Looking at this after all the years I'm so appreciating his drumming and background vocals! My husband Tracy and I were roommates with your Uncle Mike before we were married. The baker family rocks
I think it’s so cool to have these videos to look back on! I always looked up the band and could never find anything so I posted these so they could be found! I’m glad it found you!
That’s what this is from! I just thought the world deserved to have it! Took me forever to try and transfer it from original format to one I can upload 😂
elderly poodle my dad pulled out the old albums tonight! If you want to, I can send you some, maybe Facebook? My name is listed as Riley Brighton Baker
Does anyone know what the titles are for these 2 songs? He released a 45 single in 1979 with the titles- You're The Only One I Ever Needed/Why Don't You Answer?, and these 2 songs in the video above aren't those. Anyone know? UPDATE: The 2 songs on this video are "Stay Right Here" and "Hold Me Again".
That would've been on the John Davidson Show, 9/16/1980. He hired our group to back him on that show and for live shows around the country, and our guitarist wrote that song, along with others Willie did.
@@rileybaker6622 it does not say the year the show was broadcast on my youtube, maybe you have a different display, it does say the year the video was published but that does not give me any context as to when the performance was❣
Handsome & talented
Can't believe his band's name was "Paradise" like his movie with Phoebe Cates.
great music!
I got the 45 record "You're the only one I ever needed" - his best song.
wow that is so cool i grew up watching eight is enough and always had a bit of a crush on willie aames of course❣
There’s another video on this page that’s a clip from the show. There’s a part where willie says “hey Pete, hit it!!” Pete is my dad ☺️
@@rileybaker6622 thanks, i will check it out❣

Do you have tape of Willie Aames performing "Shadow Boxing" on The Mike Douglas Show circa 1980-1981?

@@stevenmarkhansen yeah CZcams wasn’t around in the late 70s unfortunately. It was filmed in 1978 like the beginning of the video states 🥰
@@rileybaker6622 thanks riley , i must have missed that where it says 1978 in the intro titles, quite often there is no info at all though, touché❣
