i found i needed a lot less string and an 8th flower, i'm making a sunflower bracelet for my friend bcuz its their favorite flower, and they have larger wrists, the 7 flower cuff i made would fit a 4th grader comfortably, not a highschooler or an adult tho

You can, but I would recommend dritz elastic stretch cord.
