So when it comes to Exodus 21:17 what is this cursing referring to? Just any type of disrespect ? Because I see it used in reference to the ruler of our people in Exodus 22:28 with an example in Acts 23:2-5. Paul was technically in the right but yet he was still not allowed to talk to the high priest in a certain way... So what exactly is cursing your father and mother that warrants the death penalty?
