When i approach white guys my age they usually say they never talked to me first because "black girls intimidate them" it just sucks that because my skin is brown *and not even darkskinned i might add* guys think im some hood, loud, aggressive girl. And when i try to talk to my black female friends they shame me for being into white guys or make fun of me. It's not my fault..we all have a type. Plus its not like i wouldnt date other races. My point is.. im really glad to see this. Maybe it will break some social awkwardness and white guys wont feel so afraid to approach me.

she was not an African princess but a Louisiana Afro-American woman who married a rich Creole man (Louisiana didn't have "princes/princesses" per se). I'm waiting for the African equivalents to Moana, Rapunzel, Frozen, Brave, etc. There are over 3000 African cultures to choose from and endless make believe possibilities. It's be amazing and EPIC :) And yes, they could start with a princess or queen inspired by real life princesses and queens.

I remember Will Smith saying in an interview that they didn't want a black love interest for him in Hitch because they felt it would alienate audiences. Jai M I looked it up not long ago. Statistically there are more movies with white men and black women than black men with white women. Unless the movie or show is specifically addressing the issue of race, the casual bi-racial relationships from the US will usually be with a white male. If you look it up it's hard to find a romantic relationship in a movie with a black man and a white woman that's not highlighting that fact for narrative purposes.
I'm not talking about in the US. I'm a white female myself but I know that not just including movies but also TV shows and I'm not talking about main characters I am talking about the characters in general. And there are plenty of movies and shows especially famous ones with white girls and black guys just look it up, it's actually not that hard to find. Even if I were wrong about it being shown more, which I could be, why would it matter so much to people especially since white women with black men is showcased way more in real life than any other interracial couple. And my first question wasn't answered. Why is the relationship manipulated if its with a black woman and white man but it's "true love" if it's the other way around?
