We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Bordeaux, France on July 2020.
Bordeaux is a port city on the river Garonne in Southwestern France and its metropolitan region is the fifth largest in the country. The city is the capital of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, but is perhaps better known as the Wine Capital of the World. It is considered an inhabited historic city as much of the central area of Bordeaux has gained UNESCO World Heritage site status. Bordeaux is also renowned for hosting one the world's largest wine festivals.
Our guided walking tour is about 3.1 miles (5 km) long, starts at St. Michael Church, ends at Public Garden (Jardin Public) and covers most attractions and historic sites of Bordeaux.

@@jeffpunisher7569 Le quartier a, visiblement, conservé au fil des décennies son passé sulfureux et quelques épouvantails fumant des herbes nauséabondes.
Mon grand-père m'évoquait souvent ce quartier dans les années '30 où il y avait une "faune" représentant le plus bel échantillonnage de la voyoucratie et de la criminalité bordelaise. Personnellement, je me souviens qu'à la fin des années '70 ou '80, me promenant en plein jour dans le quartier St-Michel, autour de la basilique, on y croisait de drôles de frimes !
Idem, mais en moins "violent", il y avait le quartier de la rue des Piliers de Tutelle, rue Courbin, rue St-Rémi etc... Les "vieux bordelais sauront de quoi je parle ;)
A voir le film, je trouve que ces quartier sont plus... propres :D
@@achille8545 c'est pareil. Le pire cartier de Bordeaux. De toute façon c'est très beau et moi aussi j'adore le marché de samedi. Ça me rappelle les marchés à Tânger. C'est pas une blague.

J'habitais Merignac, prés de la faculté de médecine où j'étudiais et l'hôpital Le Tripode où je faisais des stages, puis partout dans le sud _ ouest : Pau, jonzac, Villeneuve, Biarritz, la Rochelle, cenon, Talence, lormont,....

Really magnifique town...and without cars.....it s NICER.........Particularly..... the monuments... are built with .. big White Stones ..that you do not see in PARIS..
The facades of the monuments were cleaned in Bordeaux. In the 90s it was not white !

Before the Romans, France was strictly agricultural with time,the architecture came from Italy like most other European countries.

Independently, without examples, the Germans would never have built buildings in masonry or even roofs in tiles, nor in wooden shingles.
