Likewise still looking for the 1817/14 busthalf dollar.
They have a lot of nerve calling that 1822 cleaned. It's a 200 year old circulated coin. Another great coin tarnished by the schmucks at PCGS
They are the gang in charge- so what they say is carved in slab.
@@GardenerEarthGuy Well I reject their shenanigans and refuse to take part in the warped coin economy they've built. Only up side is I get a lot of killer coins for cheap because they have details grades they don't deserve. Once cracked out everyone loves them again.

NGC is much worse. I have crossed so many coins from NGC to my benefit.
The 68-D Half is accurately graded. The shield has a lot of nicks on the reverse as well as a big nick in the S of STATES and the nick in the balls above the stars above the banner. And there are several marks in the hair.

Ben . What a great video sir . Really enjoy it . I just HATE how slow pcgs is . They have so many new graders that I swear just got out of school or something they give Q.C or cleaned on almost everything. There's a big difference between a yr ago gradeing and now gradeing.
I decided to buy every bust half from 1808 to 1839 then send them out for grading. I just love those coins😊
The MS65 half is much nicer in my opinion... or should I say has more eye appeal for me!!!

This is why I enjoy listening to Ben, “The Coin Geek.”🤓 Regarding the Mint State-64 1908-D Barber Quarter graded by PCGS, he informs us that only 48 are graded finer, which I interpret to mean only one individual in each state could possess a finer example in all but three of the 51 states. But what has me puzzled is when was statehood granted to either Washington, D.C. or Puerto Rico ? It seems like we would have heard about it by now. 🤔 😲😳😬 🤣😂🤣 ⚾️⚾️⚾️

Ben, I usually get really mad at your videos, mad not at you, but at the grading companies 😂 I can't complain toooo much about this video. PCGS did a decent job, not perfect but decent. I give PCGS a B minus.
