That's just a rebranded Samick Sage / Southwest Archery Spyder. That riser is uncanny and massed produced in China. I got the Southwest Archery Spyder XL (64in) off of Amazon as my first bow 10 months ago for $150 and shot my first 2 indoor tournaments with it in the Trad class 2 & 4 months into shooting. Great bow and customer service. The regular Spyder is 62in aka the Cairn. Now I use a one piece Bear for the last 6 months.

Awesome for the brain. I'm nudging 60 and loving it, though I'd remind you to start off light. Ive got a 40lb recurve and 45lb longbow. Progressed a bit too fast and ended up with pins and needles alternating all over from a neck strain issue - shooting too much! All good now but something to be aware of.
The brain exercise is excellent, working out arrow design etc. I dont have a retailer nearby, or an arrow cutter, so I guess length, looking for the ballpark and then make use of "backweights" (or "FACT" system, if Gold Tips) to play with balance. I wish Jeff would do a vid on those 😁 (and Helix broadheads, explaining what their different models would be used for).
By the way, both the weights and tool for Victory's Back Weights and Gold Tip's FACT system are interchangeable 😊

Currently watching your channel and some others, I learned that the weight of my arrows should be heavier, I currently shoot a Junxing F166 recurve, it weighs 50 pounds, almost 51 weighed by me, and I shoot with 385 grain Aliexpress arrows, and I often feel that the arrows lack strength if you shoot from a greater distance, do you prefer heavy arrows, if I increase the weight of my arrow to 9 or 10 grains per pound will it give a lot of variation in the shot? Does the arrow fall a lot and quickly? I saw that your preferences are for 12-13 grains per pound arrows for hunting, but I prefer a more balanced arrow since I don't hunt and I normally like to shoot at greater distances, 55 yards to 60 yards, which would indicate me when shooting by making a Will an arrow with 10 grains per pound have the same accuracy and straightness of shot? And I bought the tbow Riser and I'm using the same blades, I'm still going to weigh how many pounds the recurve was, but your recommendation was great, it's much better than my F166 Riser, it made a huge difference in my shots and aim, I'm even more accurate with the F166 after training with the Tbow (or taow), I saw your video about penetration, really cool, we needed to see that, thanks for all the teachings and sorry for the lack of familiarity with English! What I thought of is an arrow with a 150 grain insert and another 125 or 150 grain tip, remembering that I only have access to Aliexpress because imports from the United States are very expensive, with a 92% tax on any product and like the president The current situation is communist and it's a bit complicated, I know the tips are of good quality but that's what we can buy!

If you’re not hunting it doesn’t really matter, most all of my 3D arrows are only around 9-10 grains per pound so I can shoot as flat as possible but I usually run a lighter shaft with around 175 grains up front it makes them very accurate and will group tighter plus wind doesn’t really affect them as much 👍🏻

Yes sir I completely understand and supporting USA companies is very important to us and unfortunately the reality is that probably 90% of the products we all use in traditional archery are outsourced either to China, Korea or Mexico to save money and I’m not at liberty to say what all arrows, bows and lots of other well known and branded products actually are but there are many and it’s trending by the day, just last month I learned that even the most well known brands are now outsourced so it’s hard to not have anything in our collection of archery products that aren’t shipped in from overseas and that’s why I don’t hesitate to promote really good products made in china or anywhere else as long as they are high quality and affordable anymore but I do understand your point sir completely.

Why are so many CZcams hunters proud Christians? Seems they go together at a higher rate than average.

Hmm, I’ve never paid attention to that but maybe they’re like me just having a good time here on earth in their personal walk with the Lord and enjoying hunting!

Most production bows are actually made in China but there are different levels of quality control obviously with different companies importing them.

Cairn is a Gaelic word meaning pile of stones.

Exactly! 3rivers used it because the stones supposedly marked a pathway and this bow is a great way to start the pathway to traditional archery 😁
