Romero's "rules" for zombies are imo more horrifying than a 28 days later/2004 dawn of the dead scenario. The lumbering and stalking walk is scary af. The fast, rabid zombies are just a hopeless unmanageable problem to me. Logistically fucked scenario.
i donno man, i used to have nightmares about 28 days later infected, but maybe thats because of some repressed trauma from being chased by a gang of Non-educated delinquents with meat cleavers whilst growing up in Scotland i prefer the slow moving threat tbh
