That depends on the vampire mythos and there are different vampire or vampire like entities across the world
Like Jack Crow said they aren't repelled by holy items or garlic.
@Zion Leach the movie franchise has a different spin on some of the real mythos than most vampire lore but the way they portray the vampires in the movie as just blood sucking corpses is pretty accurate. They are not nice or loving like twilight lol 😆 😂
