Reggae Interviews drove up into the hills of St Ann's to the Skybar one evening to reason with Chezidek about his new album 'Never Stop' on Irie Ites Records.
The story unfolded about how Chezidek first met the Irie Ites crew almost two decades ago at Prezident Brown's studio and a chemistry was formed where both artist and producer complement each others skills whilst maintaining the roots of reggae.
Chezidek the Herbalist! Rastafari roots and culture singer from St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica emerged on the scene in 2002 with his first album “Harvest Time” ( VP Records), produced by Phillip “ Fatis” Burrell (Xterminator Records). Chezidek's unique voice and melodies with cultural, spiritual and sometimes political topics earned him a place in the heart of Reggae fans in Jamaica and worldwide.
