No doubts , A good way of growing and saving your money is through investing . You don't need to have much before you can invest. "That little money you have now can make you millions if you invest it wisely". I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made

So if the savings account is to keep it in the account and save, when can you use the money?
We recommend to use the money in your Savings Account in case of an emergency or if you've been saving up for a big expensive purchase, but you can use the money whenever you want. Just don't forget to either transfer the money from your Savings Account to your Checking Account to use the money with your debit card or visit the bank to take it out as cash. (:

Wait, so I’m 17 and I’m going to begin work. I’m going to get a debit card, but my mom said for a savings account. Hypothetically, let’s say I go to the mall and want to buy a phone with the savings account debit card, will I be able to do so? Will I need to open both a checking a and savings account?
Hello Ash,
When you obtain a Debit Card it will be linked to a checking account. You cant get a transaction card for a savings account. If you want to use the money in your savings account with your debit card you need to transfer the money from your savings account to your checking account. Hope this helps! (:

Is a savings card considered as either a credit or debit card?
Neither. Your Checking Account is the account linked to your debit card. In order to use the money in your savings account with your debit card you need to transfer to your checking account. Hope this helps! (:

i remember when i got my first debit card i could not figure out why i kept getting denied, it turned out i just kept putting money in my savings account but not my checking account

I should have not made a savings account at all; I ain't a person that saves anything. It all started last week when my mom begs me to get a savings account. I always been going to check cashing places and I place my money into a checking account with my debit card. I never knew that I signed up a savings account without know what it was.
I just got a checking and savings account today. This video really helped me to know the difference between the two. Thank you!

@@dylanpajuelo8352 whether you deposit physical cash at the bank or your job directly deposits funds into your checking account, the bank will treat it the same way. You can transfer the cash deposit to a savings account, you can take it out for physical cash again when you need it. You can use it to pay bills directly from your savings account. It essentially all works the same!
