Easy way to cut and dry Cocoa | ಕೊಕ್ಕೊ ಒಡೆಯುವ ಮತ್ತು ಒಣಗಿಸುವ ಸುಲಭ ವಿಧಾನ | Sell cocoa for more money

Friends, we have shown you about the chocolate/Cocoa tree and fruits in our previous video. You would have understood how difficult it is to split the cocoa pods, especially in rainy season. In this video we will show you an innovative and interesting tool designed by Shastry’s Multi Solutions, with which we can split the cocoa pods easily. In this video we have also shown once the seeds are separated how these seeds are then fermented and dried for better quality and price.
Fermentation Process:
1. On Day1: Beans should be filled in plastic or wooded tray with holes in the bottom. Cover the beans and place some weight on the top. By doing this water in the beans will be drained naturally. As an alternative way these beans can be filled in a jute bag and rest it for 2-3 days.
2. On Day3: Jute bag should be as hot as hot water indicating the fermentation
3. For next 2-3 days keep mixing the fermenting beans
4. On Day5 or Day6: Cut open beans vertically. Color of the beans would have turned brownish instead of violet indicating that fermentation is successful.
5. Fermented beans are then dried in open sunlight or inside poly house.
6. Keep mixing the beans daily
7. On 5th ot 6th of drying, press the beans with fingers. If the beans being crushed, then the beans are ready for packing.
