Why don’t they play these games where there are big populations of samoans and tongans, so the stadium will actually attract people?
There's over 180,000 Samoans/Tongans only 2 hours away in Auckland. Maybe if the game had been played on Saturday there may of been a better turnout.

The fact that these people are complaining about crowds every single week is that what you are looking for? Yeah ik Moana Isn’t up there with fanbases but one day they will. They are still growing but the only thing has to be done is they either play in a smaller stadium or otherwise they will have to go with Samoa and Tonga stadiums 👍

I actually don't understand how Super rugby can afford itself. Absolutely absurd that there are constantly quarter full stadiums. Why don't you open just one stand that the main camera is looking at most of the game and at the very very least it looks like there are people there. You think kids watching this are going to be inspired when there are things like that NRL? If the locals don't care why should the average consumer
This was a Moana Pacifika ‘home game’ … played in Hamilton
Moana Pasifika have moved their home base from Mt Smart to Albany/North Harbour but the Albany field is not playable yet after summer concerts on the ground forced a surface re-lay so they were forced to move the game to Hamilton
Guys let's not kid ourselves. I get this is Moana Pasifika but the point still stands. Let's see if the next match put up by sky has a game that is half full a stadium

Another sell out 😂. Crowds are absolutely shocking. Look at Top 14, Premiership, and URC...minus the South African teams you're looking at sell out stadiums or close as.
How can this be sustainable for these clubs when the stadiums are close to empty?

Stupid to play this game in a neutral venue. There were good crowds for the first round games (Chiefs vs Crusaders and Blues vs Drua).
@@mcg5404 MLR drew 4,500 for their first round in Miami. Melbourne Rebels got 4,200 two weeks ago.

Play the games on the weekends and only day or afternoon matches, most people are at home on Friday night

@@francelewiss7030 the product of the league is important if you want it to be successful and promote the sport down the line. Having empty stadiums isn’t a good look, doesn’t help the product.

League is exactly where it was 30 years ago. It's a boring product propped up by pokies and nostalgia.
How was that a high tackle? There was head contact but it's a dangerous sport where there is supposed to be tackling. Here the tackler was crouching.... unfortunately the person tackled was also crouching... had he been upright the tackle would have caught him in the midriff. It's not a high tackle... just a rugby collision. Anyone tell me how you avoid this? No wonder rugby is going down the pan and there are just over 100 people there.

Rugby is a full contact sport and pretty much every contact in the tackle is like a car crash. Instead of stopping the full contact action how about giving the players head protection.

Not much defence in the first half. Pretty bad when the winger, all alone, beats three defenders to score. If you want to be a pro, you have to know how to tackle.

@MusMasi last year, Drua reached the quarterfinals....Moana with full of experienced players playing in the NPC where 98% are all born overseas..and on top of that, some of them are former all Blacks and Wallabies...and also represented Tonga and Samoa at thr international stages...so it was expected for Moana to win...

So... the refs just don't bother calling forward passes anymore? (Rebels 2nd try) It looked like a really good game until the ref mutilated it with that soft yellow card followed by another absurd yellow card. How much lower is the tackler supposed to crouch in order to tackle a ducking player? If you duck as an attacking player, any contact to your head is your own fault. It shouldn't be considered foul play. Soft bs. Sorry, but I don't want to see this in rugby.
I agree, it's too hard to reward attacking players when they fall poorly into a defender that is set appropriately to tackle.
