She possesses a remarkable level of intelligence coupled with an innate spontaneity. The manner in which she meticulously arranges her thoughts and articulates her ideas reflects an unparalleled level of finesse. Not to mention that when she speaks Filipino, she has no foreign accent at all.

Nakaka aliw. Tama yon, ang reason why Filipinos respond in English kahit nagtatagalog kayo, kasi hindi sure kung up to what extent ang tagalog ang kaya niyo intindihin.

nasa Church ako, tas may nakita akong American guy, tas kinausap niya ako sa Tagalog, pero nag english parin ako, cuz I thought it was weird. Tas noong nasa conference ako sa Malaysia, kasama katropa ko, may nakilala kaming Korean girl, tas nag tatagalog din siya, halos lahat kami nawalan ng puso hahaha

I relate to this so much. Only mixed people can truly understand. The shock value among my kababyan, even within my own family. Sometimes it's amusing the rest of the time it's frustrating because the more people point it out the more they make me feel like an outsider and not accepted. I can have all the things checked like PH citizenship, multple Filipino languages, know filipino culture through and through etc...but I've come to understand that no matter what i do and because of the way i look I'll never be truly accepted as a Filipino in the Philippines (Not unless i become famous...and it shouldn't need to be that way). I ultimately really just have to think of myself as an absolute individual and move forward with life.

Hi! Recently ko lang na-discover yung channel mo at humahanga talaga ako sa kakayahan mong mag-Tagalog. Napakahusay! 👏🏻 Small tip lang to improve your Tagalog, napansin ko na sinasabi mo minsan: "May maraming Pilipino doon" para i-translate yung "There are a lot of Filipinos there." In this case, mas tama na sabihing "Maraming Pilipino doon" (without the "may") 😊 Sana makatulong ito!

Hey there Jared. Here's a question you can throw into your conversations with your guests who are multi-lingual: "When you're talking to yourself in your head (for example, 'Where did I leave my keys?'), in which language do you hear yourself speaking more often?"

I have already donated awhile ago but would like to make a suggestion on how to can get to your goal quicker . On each vid you do moving forward, have a small pop-up commercial reminding subscribers of your fundraiser goal to get you to Philippines and how important it is to elevate your channel to attract even more subscribers. People like helping out, especially when asked. We all love your work. After Philippines, next goal to get you to 100K subs ! @@Jayyhartmann
