    What a stellar performance by our young ladies, definitely happy and so proud of them, all kudos to the team and management! Tremendous group of young ladies who definitely can challenge for the championship in 2027, 2031, given the needed preparatory support. They have stepped up massively, it's our time to do so

      @aijeonline8574 It is the truth. She has had to do much of the heavy lifting. Take Cedella away and the people she put together as support staff especially from the diaspora and this team wouldn't have success. JFF are now interested because of the money they can get.

    GREETINGS FROM COLOMBIA... You should be proud of your beautiful warriors. Amazing team and this match could be for anyone. We got the goal but it doesn't take any credit of your team.. Also, sounds harsh but we will beat the British... you know why? Because it will be way EASIER than the Match with JAMAICA.. A lot of love and RESPECT rastas.... CHEERS!!...

    Agree with the assessment of your guest, apart from him saying the JFF has done a lot. Will say they have done something, but certainly not a lot, for example falling down big time on practice games.

    Good performance from Jamaica. You made the rest of the Caribbean proud also. Was always going to be hard because it's a World Cup and there is so much at stake that everyone is jostling for their country to have the glory. Jamaica defintely did better than anyone would have reasonably expected going into this tournament.

    They could have played better, I expected them to come out and attack more, but they were still a bit too reserved. I don't think they wanted it bad enough.

      You don't know anything. The coaches made too many changes and the chemistry was off. Don't disrespect them by saying that they didn't want it. They did their best. It happens.

    Fine achievement, but we a have to be honest Jamaica is not yet at the level to impact a tournament, what is worrying is that the reggae boys were in thus same position 20+ years ago. More financial assistance is required to set up a training facility for promising players and current players , a new coach his tactics were poor, they didnt utilize the wings and struggled with the marking, in time they will improve but really need enhancing.

      Geez man chill. The mere fact that a small Caribbean island has made it to the world cup is a major feat in itself; let alone making past the group stage and into the round of 16. That's a milestone for any small island nation.
      I mean, just look at the group they were in. They had to get past France, Panama and Brazil. That's a tall ask to begin any team's campaign. That's a significant milestone in my book.
      What is needed is much more support from cooperate Jamaica and those in authority. It's a shame these athletes have to endure these situations year in, year out. Especially with the Sunshine Reggae Girlz.
      Jamaica has shown that they are on the right track and that they are a force to be reckoned with. If they could have accomplished what had accomplished with little support, far more if they had the whole of Jamaica (including corperate sponsorship and those in authority).
      I personally believe from here on in, the world will be watching them and not taking them lightly.

      @djbarbergreen3388 Před 10 měsíci +1

      No one denied that they had done well, ..did you see the Nigerian team well thats the level Jamaica need to reach, with small pool of players its harder for the smaller countries to have a team packed with top professionals, however a good coach and team spirit will get you far ..,

      @djbarbergreen3388 We beat Nigeria recently. Morocco also beat Colombia in this tournament and we beat Morocco before the world cup. We weren't on our best on the day and we missed 2 easy chances. Had we scored those you'd be saying something else. Small fractions make a difference.

    "BURY THE HACKET" Cedella Marley & Elaine Walker-Brown (rep. for the JFF) need to get together & work like they never did before!! They both have a genuine love for the game & its development in Jamaica. Don't allow us gentlemen folks to smirk over this women squabbling think, it's like us waiting for the 'underwear(s)' to start showing....lol!

    • @Tejaye777
      @Tejaye777 Před 10 měsíci +3

      I think that is what got Jamaica so far. Jamaica's strength in this tournament was always defensive. If you look back at the stats they didn't really feature as a real attacking threat except in the Panama game. Playing this way is good for the first round where you are just gathering points but in the knock out rounds where you have to score it is much harder.

      It's not easy to hold off both Brazil and France from scoring in competitive games especially the World Cup and beating Panama. Athough not as esteemed team as Brazil and France all World Cup teams are tough. I'll be honest the heart of their success was the defense and it shonned very brightly but in the face of such high level teams the attack wasn't very potent at all.
