- Crash Team Rumble has already had some "Rumblings" about who will be in the launch roster. However, due to some sharp detective work, KBABZ found an asset that features Icons of many characters coming to Crash Team Rumble (Wumpa League). Spyro and N. Tropy are some of the characters, but who else could be involved? Let's talk about it!

I have 3 guesses to the leaf symbol
1. Yaya Panda, because pandas eat leaves
2. An entirely new character which would be a fox or a tanuki, because they're famous for leaving leaves behind
3. Elora would make sense because in Crash Team Racing we got 3 Spyro characters: Spyro, Hunter, and Gnasty Gnorc. So for Crash Team Rumble we will get 3 Spyro characters: Spyro, Ripto, and Elora as our guest stars.

Calling Ripto a "small reason" for Spyro being here is just perfect. And, ripping off Spyro's wings sounds like something The Sorceress would (want to) do.

I mean, that was LITERALLY her plan in Year of the Dragon! She wanted the baby Dragons not to restore magic to the Forgotten Worlds, but so that she could use their wings to make an immortality charm.
One thing I noticed is that in CTR Nitro fuelled, we got Spyro, a friend being Hunter, and a villain being Gnasty Gnorc, so we could see that here with Spyro, the friend being Elora, and the villain being Ripto this time
The next crash spin off should have Agent 9 and the sorceress

I really hope that we get a unique Spyro themed level to go along with the Spyro characters like what he got in CTR. That would make me a ton more hyped.
I think they will have a Spyro themed level arena thing being added if there's Spyro characters on the way, it would make no sense to not take things a step further and add a playable area to take Spyro and company to feel right at home with.

Personally as a Spyro fan first and a Crash fan like 6th, the inclusion of Spyro levels can be the difference between me buying the game and not buying it.
Most likely happening they usually spread the love. Just like how they gave spyro his own track in CTR.
My most wanted characters for this would definitely be Crunch, Tiny, Koala Kong, Elora, Hunter and hopefully Cynder.
A tease that Cynder would be in Spyro 4 would be awesome.

For the leaf symbol, I really don’t know which character that has the leaf. It could be an existing character from the Crash universe or it could be a brand new character that we haven’t seen before. I think it really belongs to a plant character like a Venus fly trap, but that leaf that belongs to Willy Wumpacheeks makes the most sense.
I know a caracter with a leaf, they would be so left field curvball crazy that they are 100% not the one, but the pikmon have leafs

Truthfully, Bianca would make more sense than Elora since Elora isn't a fighter. However, if they stick to the two per season then it will likely only be Spyro and Ripto. I'm guessing they are putting Ripto in since he wasn't in Nitro Fuel and he was so obviously suppose to be and likely would have been coming after Baby Cortex and Baby N Tropy if COVID hadn't happened.
Feel like if it was willy, the symbol would've been the wumpawhip or his nose shape, but who knows, would be neat to see a brand new character so I'm holding out hope more for that
I say it once again, but I really want to see Pinstripe and the Komodo Brothers. In fact characters from the Trilogy that didn’t appeared yet under the style of Crash 4. But if Papu Papu managed to get there, I don’t see why the rest couldn’t be there.
And I 100% agree with you concerning Willie Wumpa Cheeks. I had that thought 1 day after the trailer, and I feel certain that the leaf will represent him.
Pinstripe literally uses a gun. He would just go too well with this kind of game.
@@rayjoe8892 He would be perfect! Each characters have their own wackiness, and so does he. :) He can also uses bombs or summoning nitro/radioactive barrels, just like in Crash on the Run. :)

If the Leaf is Papu Papu, they need a big character on the other side to balance the roster. This makes me think that the spike bracelet could belong to either Tiny Tiger or Koala Kong...

I'm worried that Spyro is becoming to the Crash Bandicoot series what Usagi Yojimbo has become to the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". In that, he's the protagonist of a totally different franchise, but he's made so many appearances in the franchise that people will more associate him with the franchise he keeps appearing in rather than the one he's from. Still, this is exciting news. I'm still holding out hope for Classic Tawna, the Nitro Squad, Tracer, and Nina.
Don’t think that will be the case, he shows in a lot of spin-offs but so does link in Mario kart and so on. If we can’t get a new Spyro game we might as well see him in his more successful rival’s games.
Honestly I if anything, they will get more crossover series because it's confirmed crash and spyro are best friends via canon. However spyro games dont show crash. So I get what you are saying. I think if anything, spyro is just being used to keep the hype of spyro fans playing their more popular crash game.

Great job with this analysis!! I’m especially excited for Ripper Roo, but really crossing my fingers for Liz from CTR Nitro Fueled as she’s my favorite Crash character actually. Hoping she gets added down the road!
Maybe they can bring tiny, Nina, papu papu, n.oxide, Hunter, agent 9, Bentley, sergeant bird, Sheila, koala kong, eruptor, and some skylanders in the game.
Elora would make the most sense for the leaf, unless it is a brand-new character. For Papu Ppau they would use his staff as an emblem and for Willie Wumpa Cheeks only a Wumpa Fruit, or that Wumpa Drinks in CTTR, would work as an emblem for him.
definitely gonna be a ripper roo main, i love that guy. i think it'd be cool if they added tiny tiger sometime too, he's my personal favorite boss.
I recall there being a trio of unused villains envisioned for an unmade Cortex spinoff, one of which was apparently some sort of plant scientist called N-Growth or something, it's definitely a far shot but something worth mentioning!
There's also a villain called Doctor N. Tertain, a casino themed villain for the cancelled game cortex chaos, he appears on a post made by keith webb, where he's seen next to N. Trance (with his twinsanity design)
I honestly like this over-investigation because it brings a lot of possibilities.
Spyro and other two character from his world could be in CTRB, and Elora and Ripto being the new guests sounds cool, a friend and a villain like in CTR.
Although the leaf is by far the most ambiguous one, it could be anyone because many characters can be identified by a leaf, symbolyc or literally.
I'm very hyped for Crash Team Rumble as I was so excited when it was first announced at the game awards! As I hope we get to see other Spyro characters in Crash Team Rumble since I feel like the Spyro deserves a lot more recognition than it gets.
If Ripper Roo really is in the game, I hope this makes it where he appears in Crash Bandicoot 5, as a PLAYABLE character. We had Dingodile in Crash Bandicoot 4 be playable in the platforming adventure so it would be sweet if Ripper Roo joins the playable role as well for Crash’s next platforming adventure.
Also if Spyro really is in Wumpa League, I hope he has some unique animations from his own games in Wumpa League, like if he wins he could use some of his idle animations from the Reignited Trilogy, like maybe he could lick his paw and spiking his hair, or him stretching, or he could do his happy dance like when you get a talisman or orb in the Reignited Trilogy version of Ripto’s rage. His death animations if he is killed in a health game could also be from his own games, like spinning around and collapsing backwards dead for normal, getting flattened and floating to his back if squashed, or he could be burnt, stand upwards no fall over backwards if burnt.
If Ripto and Elora were to be in the game as well, then maybe in the next Crash Bandicoot Spin-off game, we could have Bianca and the Sorceress as the last remaining Spyro Guest Characters in Crash Bandicoot spin-off 3. It would be interesting to see what Bianca can actually do in the hands of a player, and see if the Sorceress can put her money where her mouth is.
Lastly this is probably just me and not very likely, but if Crunch Bandicoot and Cynder make an appearance, it could set some interesting characters to look forward to seeing in Crash Bandicoot 5 and Spyro 4 respectively.
Omg the Willie theory is great! I would be excited to see Elora or Papu for the leaf too, but I think despite being precious about the slots I would be more than fine with having a second new character to foil Catbat as you say. Great video !

I *really* hope that the final character is Elora. She's been my favourite since I was a kid, I loved her redesign for the reignited trilogy, and I was so sad when she missed out on CTR.
As great as that would be, I don't think is. Mainly because it wouldn't make much sense to have two heroes and only one villain to represent Spyro in a game like this where they'd probably want characters to have some kind of 'rival' counterpart.
So I can't help but think of the Panda character when seeing the leaf. Cause when Mario uses a leaf he becomes a Tanuki red panda thing.

A bit of a long shot, but maybe the leaf could be referencing the scrapped character N. Tangle, the botanist.
Willie Wumpa Cheeks might be my least favorite Crash Bandicoot character ever, but his appearance would make sense in the context of a wumpa-based multiplayer game
my possible pick for the leaf could maybe be aku aku but i suppose that wouldnt really make sense considering we've seen uka uka being used as a sort of power up in the trailer so its likley aku aku is also getting that treatment
Haven’t heard anything on Pura or Polar so I wonder if they’ll be part of the roster as well, or possibly some type of item or something to pick up like maybe a movement speed buff since in the originals you could ride them.
I think the leaf could possibly represent ‘N.Tangle’ a character concept that was never used from years ago

Maybe you Wily Wumpa Cheeks is The mascot. After all who would be as villain counterpart? The only person I could see working in Von Clutch and that’s a pretty big stretch. You should also keep in mind that Wily was blown up and had his remains eaten.

The leaf symbol could be either Aku Aku giving him a body to fight with or Papu in my opinion

10:38 For the leaf, it could be Papu Papu, but it would've been a tribal mask or some sort. So I'm thinking outside of the box and say that it could be the carnivorous plant that we see at the river levels in Crash 2 and at Papu's Pyramid in Crash Team Racing (we have Piranha Plant in Smash Bros Ultimate, so). Or it could be Aku Aku, since he has leaves
the other symbols like the leaf and rockets and tnt crate could also just be power-up symbols and not characters

Ripto and Cortex have worked together before. For the leaf I would think Koala Kong since Koala's eat leaves but I will admit that it is stretching.
The fact Spyro keeps popping out in Crash games makes me think that Crash considers Spyro his best friend and that he invited him to all of those games. Also, Crash must have definitely visited The Land of the Dragons at some point.

What if the leaf isn’t actually a part of the character, but a symbol commonly associated with sed character? In case you haven’t figured it out I’m referring to Stealth Elf or a different skylander from the life element. (Possibly Tree Rex considering the fact that he the life element symbol on his head)

There's one problem. Wumpacheeks was actually "killed off" (juiced) in tag team racing. Canonically he doesnt exist anymore. As for ripto's necklace. I had a feeling it was ripto. It vegs you to wonder: is this game gonna have a full activision multiverse like smash bros is doing? Is crash just the staple for creating a crash lore that brings their other iconic character to the crash world. And what about spyro's cameo pool floaty appearance in crash 4? Was this a way of telling us that spyro is in fact gonna make a return, considering CTRumble was supposed to be a crash 4 game node instead of a standalone?

I am really hoping that it is Elora, as I have a strong feeling that she could kick butt if she wanted or needed to tbh.

I just realized that Tiny the Tiger hasn’t been in a newly scratched Crash Bandicoot game, fresh out of the box-esk, since 2007!! That would be big if he were included in this game because he’s been out of the playing field for A LONG TIME! But then again, there’s also a lot that haven’t been in a new new crash game.
Hopefully we get alot of characters like Ctr: Nf my faves were nina, Pasadena and all the trophy girls
What if the mysterious character is Stealth Elf both Spyro and Crash made an appearance in Skylanders what if they are trying to make Skylanders come back they posted a few concept art and awards so what if they're adding a few characters from that game to hype it up again maybe there's also plenty of characters with different skills in that game it would make Crash Team Rumble interesting plus she's a life element most of her things are leaf themed .

In all seriousness though, I was skeptical it might just be random objects and easter eggs (I mean where's Rusty Walrus in Nitro Fuelled if all easter eggs count?) but the jewel kinda took my interest, that really is Ripto's, huh. I could see Papu Papu being the leaf given he was on the concept art so at least considered though there's plenty original characters to go through from that source too.
(Would be neat if Willie got some vindication though.)
