Recently, I emerged from a significantly dark period of my life. A bleak winter, before I reached a turning point after which I was able to follow through on changes I’d been wanting to make for a while. Changes that have truly brought me so much light, happiness and peace. I’ve got more goals to reach, but this truly has been the Spring of my life, the season of refreshing. This piece truly epitomizes that feelings for me. For anyone in the dead of their winter, just know Spring always follows. Don’t give up.

I have a really vivid picture in my mind of what I see when I listened to this.
Imagine you're in a massive grassy field, you're sat in the shade of a huge oak tree, the sun is shining, insects buzzing round, birds faintly singing in the distance. There comes a few drops of a spring shower, light rain sparkling in the sunlight (the violins). Tiny flower buds sprout from the ground below and unfurl their petals. It's warm and bright, and you'll remember the day you sat under the oak tree in the sun.
I prefer this to the original immensely...

A moving and profound piece. Full of life and movement in the higher register carried along by a slowly moving theme building strength and definition and it consumes you and you get lost in it; this music carries Spring as if it is everything everywhere all at once. And it is a love story to Spring and the contemplation of it.
I was really high on Saturday. Decided to listen to this song as it was raining outside and I started to cry by the end of it. I started to have a crisis as to who I was and what I wanted out of my life. What have you done to me Max Richter?!

I love how familiar this feels.
This song is my absolute favourite out of the entire album, and somehow I always connect it to my experience of seeing Versailles. As an add up to the story, the first time I went to Versailles, they had speakers in the gardens that played Vivaldi's seasons throughout the entire day, and I always think about that when listening to this rendintion. Basically I had this song playing in my head the whole time I was walking through the gardens last year. It gives me shivers and kind of transports me to those times.

I recently heard this song, while watching the movie, 'The Current War,' & it sounded so profoundly beautiful & yet so familiar that I had to find out what it was called & who made it at the film's ending credits, & the song's title sounded so familiar, that I didn't even have to write its name or the name of the man who composed it, I remembered it, Max Richter. Even days later, I couldn't get the song out of my head, I had to find out more about it & the man was who made such a wonderful work or auditory art. Now, I love it even more than Vivaldi's original, which I never thought could be possible, & hardly recognize it...it is so...breathtakingly beautiful, that the word, "Beautiful," barely begins to describe it; so amazing in its wonder.
