After getting them to 79% on the gamma banner I can wholeheartedly say they still hold up perfectly and they have a ton of utility
The best part about them imo is the heal tho, since they can easily heal up to 200k with just a tiny amount of luck on orbs, they are a blast to have
Even at 69% they’re an absolute treat to have. Such a good overall unit.

Here's the thing, Agl Gohan will be better after eza in general cause of the teams he will buff regardless of kits at this point
I think im scared they may go the route where every unit need damage reduction, dodge or scouter to be even considered decent and im scared they may go down this road and its not a good one its a dark one. I think also if they are going to have things that expire after x turns they should at least replace the lost effects with something else or a lesser version of that effect.
Pretty sure that won’t happen but those things will always be the most valuable. What they will do however is keep increasing the attack and defensive numbers needed, like how units today can get by with a raw 500k defense and 7-9m attack stats, that bar will likely just be increased.
I mean there was a time where if you didn't stack defense you weren't decent and the game is still going lol

Beam nullification, sealing, their incredible active skill you can get turn one. The only bad things I can point to is their link set and teams.

I remember people saying the 5th anniversary was bad DURING the 5th anniversary, there was nothing to do, I even can vaguely remember one of your videos talking about people complaining about no content, the LR F2p Black sucked on release after his EZA, and on top of how bad the anniversary was, The 5th year dokkan fest LRs are one the fastest aging aniversary units ever, there were hype on release but by the time I got them with red coins 6 months later, they were already pretty much mid.
All that on top of the 5 year lrs never being featured on banners ever. They didnt come back until pikkon and janemba and from there it was until 7th anni i believe when we saw them next

i'm a balance type player when it comes to these types of games but i also keep up with the meta. If a games makes you need more offense than i'll forcus on that if the game needs def i'll focus on that and this meta of the game now needs good defense which i noticed. Its not all about just beating the stage very fast. I mean i like it cause its teaching you what your unit's can do in long run events. It even made me realize how many units i barely use now that people are saying its good now.

@AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH gamma 1 and especially vegeta and trunks will not age (if they do they will still be incredibly strong) but I can see gamma 2 and cooler aging simply because they’re just “raw” stats with no defensive tech

Actually it's truth who is an echo chamber for Gorresh, and whenever he has an original take that he just spits out on a video for the first time, it's bad and generally poorly recieved. That's why whenever gorresh and truth are on a video at the same time you always hear truth running things past gorresh because he isn't confident in his own takes without hearing what gorresh has to say about something. And it used to be worse to the point gorresh would talk about something on his videos and then truth would come out with a video the next day regurgitating the same exact thing goresh had just talked about in his previous video.

Starting college and playing Dokkan has not meshed well, it’s fun but it’s the least I’ve played since I started in 7th grade
With the whole wait 5-6 months on global part the only time the hype never changed was for 5th anni because its blue gogeta and blue vegito, the most hype characters and I was still a relatively new player and had a shit ton of stuff to grind so I had 2k stones going into that celebration. I wasn't too hyped for 6th and 7th anni tbh
Metal cooler core LR goku and Vegeta are just LR fused Zamasu but worse... think about it
G&V: their sa raises stats, and their passive gives a CHANCE at another
Zamasu: their sa *greatly* raises stats and their is a *garunteed* additional after ultra super
I could keep going, ESPECIALLY about their damage reduction and stuff, but my main point is that they are just the unit but worse
They should have a special skill orb that adds the 8th link. Something else to grind and change the build of characters

The Broly Dokkan Event was impossible without the right units. AGL SSJ3 Goku's EZA event was extremely difficult when it first dropped.
Boss Rush, SBR, ESBR, the Legendary Goku Event, God Event. All of them were very very difficult to beat when they first dropped without the newest units.

Just wanna say I want a duel Dokkan fest goku and hit. Hit gets his power boost as his active skill and it increases his dodge. While the goku is in blue with a kaioken active skill which can disable dodge, counters, and increase atk and defense for 6 turns (I’m hoping they make more events where bosses just dodge)

12:27 I have changed most of my point of views when I PERSONALLY found that stacking character aren't such an op unbreakable force for snowballing hard content, not always. Always said that ui goku best unit in the game in its prime for a full year even before hearing datruth saying that, you just need to run himwith a decent partner and it was your best unit even at 55%, no further setup required, i can't say the same for the Eza of int Ui goku, he stacks too slowly to matter and its main value comes from its transformation, and upon FULLY realizing this (and among other things)i found that datruth was the dokkan content creator which i was the most *tuned* in terms of opinion and with its work and showcases he was the most helpful at helping my shortcoming as player to complete hard content (but i still can't defeat RZ omega EVEN THO I DEFEATED RZ BROLY AND THE RZ METAL COOLERS 😭😭😭😭)
