Beware with water it's normally 2 bills 1) Freshwater 2) Sewage, hope this helps
Oh wow I didn’t know this😅😅 thanks for sharing - I’m scared to get that bill! Lol
My rent in Zone 4 London is about £500 less than your rent, so rent costs are very variable, depending on location.
Just like any city, the farther you get from the city center (or zone 1 in London) the cheaper it gets!
My advice is to get out of London and move to somewhere like Kent. Living costs are cheaper and easy/quick to get into the smoke. More money for living life.
I do want to check out Kent!! And a few places around UK that people have been leaving London to live in!! I do love London tho & my job is there :( so we’ll see!
@@SheRunTheWorld very easy to get into town on public transport. 15 minutes from North Kent on the train
I hope you can tell us the average salaries in London, and the best ways to search for a job
thank you
That’s a great idea! I’ll start working on a video - thanks for the suggestion :)
Informative. You mentioned council tax. All towns or cities I have lived in the USA have a locality tax which is a percent of earned income, and it provides services like road care but does not include things like your sewer and garbage bills. Your tax was amount is much lower. Your water bill seems extremely low. I pay $70+ per month for each person. One thing you did not mention is the national healthcare. Maybe you could consider that sometime. Your video was very informative and interesting. Thanks.
I hope the water bill is low- I haven’t gotten it yet & I’m scared! $70/month would be absurd!!!! Lol. Thanks for watching :)
How much disposable income do you have after bills though? I think that's the important thing, not living just to exist.
Since everyone’s salaries and spending habits are different, the point of the video was to show how much the bare minimum is gonna cost you just to exist in London! Then after that it’s based on how much you make and spend in a month :)
it could be good if the host is live, dont think she will, i lived London 10 years, as well as bournemouth, and isl of whight, i live in the north east now for a fraction of the cost
Very true! Anywhere outside the main cities is going to be cheaper - I just love London so it’s worth it to me!
@@SheRunTheWorld you must be close to central london for them prices, i was in one bed place in harrow, for 900 a month, would love to find out now how prices have changed, mainly on the rents, its been 10 years since i moved, Im in 3 bedroom house now, with patio and garden and pay 390 a month
