Do they have rides or games for the kiddies? Food?
Hopefully this comes back next year
I bought tickets for this Saturday. Traveling from San Diego. Makes me want to cancel and go to Knotts instead.
Just getting through the comments. Hope you had a good time!
They have one here in Colorado. Need to see if it's 13th floor as well. I did do the 13th Floor maze last week in Denver. Very fun! They have their own warehouse year round that they can build in. Very fun.
I believe they do own it. The company is based out of Denver.
13th Floor is a very good haunt, but not accessable. 1 part of the maze has the floor at an even steeper angle than Haunted Shack. You aren't even allowed in with a boot or crutches. But if you are in Denver, I still recommend it.
This looks really cool! I have tickets to take my kids this Friday!!! How's the food and beer prices?? How long did you take to get through everything? Thank you for this great video!! 👍 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
***edit- The event was ok, I personally wasn't too impressed. This is more for families with young children or maybe date night. For the ticket price I paid, I expected more. Also, there was a lot of dirt flying around which annoyed me a bit. It's basically a small loop of decorated pumpkins.
It was typical event pricing for food and beer. We arrived around 915 and were back to the car by 1015.
Agree with you 100%%
What time does this event start? Thanks for the video!
Tickets are timed entry and the first ticket is 7pm. Last entry is 10.
What's the average time too see it all from start to finish? I'm thinking that waiting in line to get in is possibly just as long as time to see it all.
There was no line to get in when we got there. The entry tickets are timed and you walk the trail at your own pace.
Do they have a pumpkin patch at the end? I have a video idea in mind!? Thank you :)
No pumpkin patch for purchases, but there was a gift shop with shirts, etc
Sorry I have another question someone said it's cold because it's by the water is there a lot of mosquitoes ? What is the wait time for general admission I have tickets for the anytime is there a different line
It definitely wasn't cold when we went. I didn't see or feel any mosquito bites. There was no one in line at all when we went around 915. Not sure about earlier in the evening.
Is the music loud there for like little kids and are there a lot of strobe lights?
There are a lot of flashing light effects. Pretty much every display and lighting effect is shown in the video. There is music, some areas louder than others, but not concert level loud.
Do they sell pumpkins in there or is just the show ??
It is just a display, not a pumpkin patch.
Do they have food vendors there??
Yes. There were a few selling carnival type fried foods and snacks.
Thank you ! 🎃
Is it worth it?
The event is priced similarly to other Halloween events. We were there for just under an hour. I think it would be enjoyable for families with children and/or a date night.
Do they sell anything else besides beer?
I didn't notice. We were there late and they were closing as we left.
I agree with the person below. This was underwhelming at best. Also I'm confused why they would bother opening up this show when the original one in LA, Night of the Jacks, blows this one out of the water? Nothing magical here! LOL
This event is owned and operated by a different company than Nights of the Jack. Due to the distance between the events, I assume there is a market for a second event of a similar nature. I like the setting of Nights of the Jack better within King Gillette Ranch, but I thought the displays here were comparable to the other event.
Fair enough regarding markets. I thought it might be the same company because this one seemed SO similar to Night of the Jacks but not in a good way. lol Have you been to Night of the Jacks this year? It was SO GOOD. They really stepped it up and even my kids said it was by far the best Halloween show they had been to! I would love to see your video from that event! @@theFUNnelCakeBlog
