- In a shocking turn of events, a miscommunication in camp has left the campmates famished and frustrated. It appears that either Nigel Farage or Sam Thompson, in an unfortunate mishap, managed to burn the rice that was intended for lunch. As a result, Marvin Humes, Danielle Harold, and Tony Bellew find themselves standing around the campfire with empty stomachs and a growing sense of disappointment.
The atmosphere in camp is tense as blame is passed back and forth between Nigel and Sam. Each of them vehemently denies responsibility for the culinary catastrophe, adding fuel to the fire of this heated argument. Marvin, Danielle, and Tony, caught in the middle of this dispute, can only watch as tempers flare and emotions run high.
It is evident that resolving this issue won't be easy. The hunger and frustration in the air only serve to intensify the tension, making it clear that a quick resolution is unlikely. As the campmates continue to argue, the question of who is truly responsible for the burnt rice remains unanswered

Nigel put the rice on because Sam didnt seem interested in getting the meal ready. As he walked away he told Sam that he had put the rice on said its cooking down so he needed to keep an eye on it and walked away. What did Sam do did he get up and have a look NO he went to SLEEP.

It's all in the video, Nigel put the rice on and then asked Sam to watch it because it was nearly done. But Sam didn't he fell asleep, so it was Sam's fault. However, the others can't help blaming Nigel and trying desperately to connect it to Brexit. Pathetic !

I think Nigel expected too much from Sam, he knows what he's like, scatterbrained and probably exausted from the trial. I think Sam interpreted it that Nigel was taking care of the rice and merely informing him of the status. Just mixed communications, and they all had a laugh about it. Shame that Tony takes little digs at Nigel, it's clear he doensnt really understand that Nigel had sod all to do with the shoddy negotiations and implementation of Brexit, and they also conveniently forget about covid. They pretend that the UK is the only country experiencing a cost of living crisis and that it must be caused by Brexit. EVERYTHING is caused by Brexit to these people. Even though Nigel didn't say the precise words "can YOU look after the rice from now on", he still told Sam it was reducing and would only need a few minutes more. Sam could easily have taken the opportunity to take over when he noticed Nigel was no longer present, but no. He expects everyone else to take care of everything while he lounges about and goes to sleep.
