The i7-11700K makes Intel's very own Core i9-11900K look kinda bad. Both are 8-core CPUs with 16 threads, similarily clocked. How big is the actual gap between these two, especially when both CPUs are overclocked to 5.1GHz?

Many thanks go out to Georgios over at #equippr for getting a hold on this CPU at a reasonable price for me. #NotSponsored 🤗
Was this one of Intel's "wise" decision? 😂
Feel free to weigh in! I really want to hear your opinions on this. 😁
Would you pick up the 11700K over the 11900K if you were on the hunt for a high-performance Rocket Lake CPU? 😅
❗❗❗CORRECTION❗❗❗ At 6:45 I accidentally marked 4,889.2MHz as the max boost clock for the 11700K instead of 4,989.0MHz❗
You have gotten a good i7 11700k Chip. I have bought 4 of them and only one was able to reach 5.1ghz on all cores at 1.48v. So i would say that for people wanting to overclock it's better to get the more expensive 11900k for the better bin or to just simply buy the 10900k. Memory overclocks were also quite disappointing on Rocket Lake, with the 11700k i was not able to achieve more than 4000mhz memory clock. I would strongly advise people wanting to get a Rocket Lake Processor to opt for the 11600k as it's the best value for money regarding Rocket Lake in my opinion. Thx for the cool video and keep up the quality content!
Hey, When you show just Intel Core 17-11700k during test results - is there stocked Intel auto boost enabled (which rise cpu freq to 5 Ghz automatically by default ) or it runs at 3.6 Ghz during test?
Honestly, 10850K is probably the best buy in the "high-end gaming" CPU market if the 10700K isn't enough for your needs.
Anything stronger than that and 5900X is your only choice.
I want to buy a used gpu under 120$ what do you recommend amd or nvidia
How is the 11700k running cooler than the 10700k?
Well done Intel you pulled a blinder
lol forget the 11900k even exists. useless
LOL
Great video! Just upgraded to i7 10700k, and wow... truly amazing for 360$ CAN ! Everything is smoooooth
What temps do you see
@@Vinniepoo 26 Celsius idle, 40-50 gaming. It shouldn't go higher with a good cooler
@@BladeDoomer86 hmm I’m running an 11700k with a 360mm aio and get 30c idle and 50c while gaming with a few random spikes am I ok?
@@Vinniepoo yes perfectly fine
@@BladeDoomer86 thank you 🙏🙏
gl with power hunger
The 10850k i got for $320 slaps
I have a 11900k and its a beast. I guess I got a good one. I’m very happy with it
I'm happy for you. :)
His point was price ratio..?
I loves the rocket lake cpu. It's much better than amd 5800x. Don't buy gen 10 intel because it doesn't support pcie 4.0.
If it's so disappointing you can send it to me
I have sold it already, but the i5-11600K is still up for grabs.
ring clock on 11700k is 4.0ghz vs 11900k 4.1 thats why we see difference when both set to 5.1ghz , you can clearly see in hwinfo.
True.
I am getting the feeling my 9900k will be my last intel chip
Let's see what Intel is capable of with Alder Lake. :)
@@Nicolas11x12English i was going over different benchmarks and if you compare 8c 16t chips from each generation like the 9900k vs 10700k vs 11700k. there isnt much difference between them. per core intel has definitely stagnated and has only gotten by with adding more cores and driving tdp up
@@rileyhance318 i would wait adler i9 has 16 cores 24 threads that really strong and i must said im very happy wiht 10th gen
@@snapback_510 im not buying another intel chip until they start shrinking their dies. that 16 core chip is probably going to boil compared to amds offering
@@rileyhance318 they are giong to 10nm and 7nm intel already said and the i9 has a 125w what really good but we will see at the end off the year, and this wiht the heat i never hat a problem wiht my chips temp were really good .
Nicolas thks again and have a great new years 2023
Yesterday my new Asus ROG Strix Z590-E wifi Gaming arrived from Amazon
I did the best price ever, as someone send the mobo back to Amazon and I get it 107euro price cut....
hmm this 11700K processor is delayed
waiting hurts

Arschloch motherboard...wtf
This is why I subscribed to this channel. Excellent content.
Also, Intel is a fraud. 2nd to 7th generation, they just changed the names and increased frequency.
