After the rescue , we clean out the 1969 Vw Bus Westfalia interior & give this Volkswagen Bus it's first wash in over 2 decades! Dubwerk's channel : / @dubwerks
Hopefully it will end up being restored and HIS by the time he's 16. Worst thing is this would be looked upon as child labour anywhere else ! But since it is "memory making" I suppose its OK in the western world...... LOL.
Jason back in 1968 we had a neighbor at the shore who had an early Corvair wagon who traded his wagon for a new white VW Camper. He sold his house and drove down to FL where he later moved there since his brother lived down there. he gave us rides around the town. I remember I was 16 and with the windows open the curtains were blowing around. It was like being in a moving house or room! The nice friendly old man was alone except for his nice little Beagle. Must have been a fun drive in the camper driving from NJ down to FL!
Great to see these old VWs being brought back to life but the gem in all this is Josh, how wonderful to have your little man working with you and learning all these skills, you are very lucky.keep up the good work guys I love your channel 👍🇮🇪
crazy is I drove by this place twice and bought a Ghia down the street ...the 55' Bug was in the garage next to the 35 Ford . I'm very happy with the Bus , especially since it comes from the same family as the 55' . The rear of the Bus is pretty roached , more updates soon . Thank you for checking it out
Man, You are so very blessed to have Josh as a helper. Both of you will never forget your adventures together. I never had kids but if I did, I couldn't think of a better way to raise them. Good Job. Also that old American Car back there looks like early 30's maybe? There will be guys wanting to find out how they can get their hands on that also. Your new bus only needs a little tidying, tune up, and a couple coats of clear.
Thank you Traffer , so very blessed indeed to have Joshua & these memories. I forgot what model is was but i believe it's a 1934 ....cloth sunroof too , very cool car .

I once restored an old 1972 westie. While I was going through all the crap inside, I found a full bottle of 12 year old single malt that had a 1963 tax stamp from Maine. I still have that bottle. It's empty, but I still have it. Memory serves me correctly it was smoother than a prom queens thighs.
A rescue and clean up with Josh, what a treat. Jason, don’t paint that top, Maguires makes a 3 part kit for cleaning and waxing gelcotes that did an amazing job on my Westy.

You could sell a couple of the older ones and build a heated barn with a shop inside to store everything you have and what you will find and bring home in the future!
