The adventure of cleaning the surprisingly dirty very old carpet

  • Hello Friends!
    The carpet l washed today is one of the rare carpets l received. There are some carpets that are new with an old look, but this was not one of them. A real old rare carpet. Likewise, you don't always see such dirty carpet. The carpet was so dirty that l could neither guess ist color nor its pattern.
    Since l wash a lot of carpets, l can recognize these old carpets even with my eyes closed. Even the vibration of my hand while scraping the carpet was very different.
    Thank you friends!

    I love watching this man work. Other carpet cleaning videos are not as clean as he is. Too much dirt makes me icky and he always cleans up at the right time. Love it!

    For those interested:
    These rugs are heavily soiled for the sole purpose of showing how effective their process is.
    Being that 99% of rugs will never ever see this type of filth,this video just shows us what is possible

      This videos are fake and forced to get views. No one has the carpet like this and it would take years to get that carpet so muddy in a natural way.

    By hanging the "rug" you could work the dirt off from both sides and avoid chasing the dirt from one side to the other so many times. It would save you the cost of so much detergent and labor.
    Once the heaviest of the dirt has flowed off with the water to the floor you could then do your "on the floor" operations. It would speed up the task. Though it would not be as satisfying to watch the dirt flow away.
    I am not in your business but just my suggestion.
    That was a lot of work and fun to watch! Thank you for making this video.

    Just a tip for you. If you start with the underside of the rug you'll lessen the amount of flipping and cleaning. Basically you clean the underside, flip it over and do all the work on the topside and all you really need to do is rinse the underside with your pressure washer or hose till it runs clear

    I believe that is technically a _rug._ It is not fixed in place and covers a small area; carpets are fixed in place and cover the entire floor, serving as the primary surface. Just a technicality of course, I like watching stuff like this. It's satisfying to see the badness go away and reveal what it's supposed to look like, and when it's done you don't want to stop. Like mowing the lawn. Then mowing the neighbor's lawn. And then the neighbor's neighbor's lawn. And then you're frustrated because it's dark out...

    I've been watching this channel for a while now and I wish you would give a background of the rugs in text overlay forthose that stream on a tv (how old/new, materials that it's made with, how the heck it got in that filthy condition.) And maybe hints about your methods (do you use different products on different materials)and why you do things in certain ways.
    For example I watched a different channel once a long time ago and the comments ripped him apart because he hung the rug and sprayed it down, over and over, letting the dirt run out the bottom.

    • @timsimon6595

      @nemebliss really ? So never noticed In every video he rinses and washes rugs off camera ? And slips it in at end all ready done. I don't watch any other channels that do that. Nor understand why ?
      And no press conference is not necessary. Just pay attention

  • @rouwster1
    @rouwster1 Před 7 měsíci +1

    Save time get better results by getting the rugs off the ground. If you could find a thick wire mesh, with corner legs about 2 or 3 inches high, as you cleaned each side all the dirt would come out the bottom and not linger in the downside of the rug. You know the big wide sidewalks in NY have steam coming out, kind of like that.

    • @nemebliss
      @nemebliss Před 7 měsíci +4

      If he wanted that, he'd have done it by now. I think as a professional, he knows what he's doing and how he likes to wash his rugs
