Cobra Kai is an American martial arts comedy-drama streaming television series and a sequel to the Karate Kid's original movie directed by Robert Mark Kamen. The series was created by Josh Heeld, John Harwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who repeated their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence in the 1984 movie The Karate Kid. Thirty-four years later, the Cobra Kai examines the story of "Miyagi Verse" from Johnny's point of view, his decision to reopen the Cobra Kai Karate Dojo, and the resurgence of his old competition with Daniel. The Cobra Kai also plays Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Mariduena, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Dechenzo, Martin Kove, Vanessa Rubio and Peyton List. This series boasts high ratings on both CZcams and Netflix and has received widespread positive reviews from critics. The third season was also nominated for an "Outstanding Comedy Series" at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards. The first season started on CZcams Red in 2018 and the second season continued in 2019. After the production of the third season was completed, CZcams decided to stop producing the original scripted show and leave the show without a house. Netflix acquired the series in June 2020 and released the third season on January 1, 2021. Netflix expanded the series to the fourth season, released on December 31, 2021. The fourth season of the Cobra Kai was released on Netflix on December 31, 2021 and consists of 10 episodes. This series is a direct sequel to the four original films of The Karate Kid franchise, focusing on the characters of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, more than 30 years after the original film. Following the first two seasons on CZcams, Netflix will release the second season. Hawk / Eli Moskowitz is a main character in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. Initially a quiet and bullied student, Eli joins Cobra Kai Dojo and gains confidence after learning to "flip the script". He becomes corrupted by Cobra Kai's ruthless mentality until his conscience begins to re-emerge, as he questions the choices he's made since joining Cobra Kai. He leaves the dojo to join the now combined Miyagi-Do Karate and Eagle Fang Karate dojos. He tries to make amends for his past transgressions, but faces retribution from his former comrades. He eventually joins Miyagi-Do and becomes the 2019 boys division champion in the 51st Annual Karate Championships. Demetri Alexopoulos is a main character in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. He is portrayed by Gianni Decenzo. After being the victim of bullying for years, Demetri joined Cobra Kai Dojo alongside his friend Eli, though Demetri left after disagreeing with the dojo's ethics. He later joined Miyagi-Do Karate in the hopes of learning self-defense. He often serves as the moral compass of the group, believing that violence should be a last resort. Who Was Right?

#cobrakai #hawk #demetri - Zábava
Honestly looking at hawk and demetri at first, it’s shocking looking at what they both became
Hawk? Yeah
Demetri? Nah, I mean bro hardly chanced AT ALL
@@bootybandit9245 well exception of his karate skills he got miles better than any other season lol
It's like seeing Magikarp evolve into Gyarados!
Demetri and Eli (Hawk) were two sides of the same coin when it came to high school popularity. Demetri embraced his nerdiness but desired to be liked for who he is while Eli believed that being a dorky guy held him back so he wanted to shed that part of himself in order to feel respected.
*Hawk breaking Demetri's arm*: "What a dick!...how could you do something like that to a bro?!"
*Demetri gets closer to Yasmin cause of his broken arm*: "My dude Hawk is a literal wingman! what a bro! Great plan!"
I seriously read the comments in Demetri's voice!
Hawk was honestly taking things too far, literally beating people up for petty things and tried to do that to demitri because he send a bad review, but Demitri was also annoying at first never shutting up and never taking things seriously, and expecting Karate to be a Kindergarten lesson
karate is a kindergarten lesson in the miyagiverse
But hawk took it too far it was just a review
@@lilxtasy4936 Yeah and the kindergarten lesson is what beat up terry and kreese at the same time
@@lilxtasy4936 Actually that's What karate is in Reality. Karate or at least how most supposed "Dojos" teach it
@@paulghencea9037 it barely took bert a month to master karate
2:34 I did not see this coming 🤣
Something I really like about Demetri is that he's arguably the most intelligent character in the show. There are a lot of people on the show that have a lot more experience in combat and life overall then their others that are just gifted in their own unique way and ones who are just master strategist, especially Kreese and Silver, but what Demetri lacks in experience in fighting, even a little bit now, he makes up for it in his high technological know how's, math/science knowledge and street smarts. Demetri's brain seems to have gotten him out of a lot of confrontations in the past, people don't really mess with Demetri because he's too smart to get involved with the adult's past whereas characters like Miguel, Robby, Sam and Eli have gotten their asses kicked because they feel like they owe the adults on the show a favor for dealing with their old and new enemies and battles, that isn't true, not in the slightest. Demetri, even now that he can fight, hates confrontation and thinks that it's either a waste of time, an overexargaration, or both. This shows that he has more common sense and maturity than most if not all the younger characters and likely the rest of the supporting adult characters. Demetri has also been shown to be quite the inventor as he created many contraptions in the past, not only that but he's also been shown to use the power of math and science to his advantage in combat which I find both impressive and badass. As much as this guy is a nerd, he's a nerd with skills even before he learned karate, even though he was probably the school's number one target because of his big mouth, big ego and even bigger dorky personality, he accepts these traits because they seem to have won him battles in the past. Demetri is definitely that straight man in the series since he never matured because he never needed to, he only needed to teach his friends right from wrong and be funny while doing it, Demetri is the ultimate one liner machine and is one of my most if not most liked and favorite character on the show.
Dude this seriously deserves more likes
Just like every rivalry both weren't totally in the right but Demetri was much less wrong than Hawk because Hawk took things way damn far
You should do Bert vs Nate who was in the right next
100% agreed.
Most of the relationships at least have some shades of gray in Cobra Kai......Daniel and Johnny.......Sam and Tory and many others.
To be blunt this is one of the times where it is Black and white. Doesn't matter if Demetri is annoying in first seasons (I found him funny) being annoying doesn't mean he should be hurt or attacked.
Hawk was 100% in the wrong. ------- Kreese was in the dojo and he literally didn't say or respond to anything that demetry said. Was demetry being dumb expecting karate to be like "Flag football". Yes but kreese had a very simple way of dealing with this........"This is a karate dojo not a knitting class".
He could have just said immediately: "That's not happening....usually you start to say something when a customer walks in your doors.
No excuse for assaulting a teenager especially when you're a karate master.
When Demetri told Hawk about this and said that it's "Aggravated assault which could earn kreese a year in prison and a 10,000 dollar fine" he said: "Snitches get stiches, don't do anything stupid". Implicitly threatening him
Demetri left a review and Hawk tried to gang assault him. The fact that all Demetri did when he could have had kreese in prison is a sign of restraint. ---
Yet even after this the fact that Demetri reached out to hawk at the party despite hawk's vandalism and hawk's gang assault of him and hawk responded by dumping water on his head.
I can't feel bad for hawk and demetri telling his bad secrets.....sorry bro.....you've kind of already forfeited your right to be pissed.
Not to mention all that happened in season 2's ending proved that the Cobra Kai's are fully intent on employing lethal force and that they will not stop.
Many people will complain about Demetri joining the attack against Cobra Kai: Well look.......After hawk has tried beat up Demetri twice.....and has assaulted the smallest member of Miyagi Do and take his money.....and say to Sam and Demetri "For you pansies no place is safe" ------ they have every right to take hawk at his word.
Complaining that "The Miyagi Do's started it" is like complaining that the United states started a fight with japan because they retaliated on a separate occasion after pearl harbor. ------- Miyagi Do was attacked and threatened and Cobra Kai "Declared war" on them. Would demetri have broken hawk's arm in the same circumstances? I can't see that and you can't really say that Hawk was afraid because of what happened to miguel because his friends were all around him. Plus he wasn't near a balcony.
Honestly I started to hate Hawk after season 3 but Season 4 redeemed him to such a surprising extent that for me at least, season 4 saved him.
Sam and tory ain't shades of grey. That's 100% on Sam
@just a human with a mask Eh...while Sam definitely started it, Tory still went too crazy with her at the school fight. She was literally about to murder Sam, and that gave her literal trauma of Tory from that point forward. Not only that but she literally broke into Sam's house the season after that. Sorry but no. Tory Wasn't innocent herself, in fact from S3 all the to when they became cool in S5, Tory was the one mainly starting the fights against Sam.
I believe there are 3 hawks, blue hawk was eli shedding his fears and getting popular, red hawk was eli becoming a bully and taking things to far, and last is purple/bald hawk when eli finally returned to the good side and came back to demetri
Demetri 100%. He ain’t perfect but this is the most black and white rivalry on the show I think. Hawk got all pressed about a Yelp review and resorted to jumping him and being the biggest douche for two seasons so yea he wasn’t in the right at any point. In fact it shocked me that Demetri forgave him so fast in S3.
Dermitri forgave him too quickly because he has pure of heart.
Eli and demetri have become some of my favorite characters overtime, especially in season 4.
Same
2:34 on the virgin side you should've added "Failed so hard as a boyfriend turned his ex bisexual"
😭 foul
Hello 911 I'd like to report a FUCKING MURDER BRO
🤣🤣🤣
murder is illegal bro
Do Chris Vs Mitch, a solid rivalry between two secondary characters I'd like people to give more attention.
“Put him in a body bag! Yeah!”
This is the first and only rivalry so far where we have a definitive answer on who was right
2:35 Love the Hawk rendition of the Virgin/Chad meme!
What if when demitri tries to join cobra Kai on season 2, he talks to Johnny instead of kreese?
You should do a Who Was RIGHT? between:
Anthony and Kenny
Daniel and Chozen
Daniel and Mike Barnes
Miguel and Kyler
Robby and Shawn
Mr. Miyagi and Sato
Mr. Miyagi and Kreese
Lemme help u there:
Kenny
Daniel
Daniel
Robby
Miyagi
Miyagi
@@garyjones2561 @Gary Jones yeah, Anthony went around gang jumping kids and tormenting a kid just cause he liked online video games. He then thought it all would be OK with a half assed apology. There's no 2 sides there. However, haven't seen it in a while, but I think Sato was right. I believe in KK2 Sato reveled Miyagi stole his long time girlfriend, then fled the island because he thought he would lose to Sato in a duel. I believe the only thing they said Sato did wrong in this movie was holding on to the grudge for too long. However in terms of their relationship, it seemed Miyagi was in the wrong.
@@deathdog1392 Mr. Miyagi and Yukie were in love. Sato and Yukie's marriage was an arranged one, and even if he didn't get to marry her, Mr. Miyagi professing his love was a good thing, as the "scandal" resulted in the wedding being called off completely, and she didn't have to marry that lunatic. Bought out their island, threatened to flatten it if Mr. Miyagi didn't fight him... not husband material. As to Mr. Miyagi's motive for fleeing, I think it was out of sorrow or perhaps guilt (false guilt, since I don't believe he was wrong), rather than cowardice. I think he'd beat Sato, who tried to chop that giant board for years, but when Mr. Miyagi needed to, did it on the first try!

@@agnikaineverdies7646 This is supposed to be who's right, not who's an Ahole.
This is really easy Demetri was right.
Do Nate and Bert. They’re fun.
I would like you to do a video on the conflict between stingray and his neighbor
Demetri is one of the only characters that has basically always been in the right. Demetri "snitching" is not snitching, thats what you are supposed to do. he should have gotten the police involved and gotten Kreese in jail. Some fans try to justify some characters like hawks actions by trying their very best to grasp and cherry pick something so that it can be justified. Even if Demetri was really unjust in his review of cobra kai that doesnt excuse any of what hawk did
I'm glad there's still people like you out there with a brain, sense, and compassion. Because people like a character and sometimes it goes beyond fiction. Because they like or love a person they'll excuse the most craziest of actions.
Demetri was obviously right in the conflict, but holy shit he made his life so much harder. I GUARANTEE if he didn't piss off Hawk as much in Season 2, it would of been a lot different. I mean even before they started beefing, Demetri was being annoying on purpose by making fun of his new nickname. To add to that Hawk was trying to be more confident but Demetri just swoops in and pretends to be in Cobra Kai for clout as you said in this video while Hawk had to actually learn how to fight. I would be pissed too honestly
Demetri is that kid who is so awkward that he says the wrong thing and ends up pissing everyone off. They got along so well before because Eli was quiet, even back then I know he got under Eli's skin from time to time. Even when Demetri was trying to be nice to Hawk, he was being sarcastic and passive aggressive.
Also you failed to mention the soccer game where Demetri was egging Hawk on because of Sam's advice which got them all beaten up and eventually Demetri getting his arm broken.
Sure, your right. But Hawk took it WAY too far, and I’m glad he got humbled for it.
Nice vid! You should do a “who was right? Kreese or Silver?” Video!
Silver was so obviously in the right to do what he does to Kreese in the end.
I love your vids man
When are you going to make more anime what ifs
I personally love the friendship between hawk
and demetri in season 4 but after red hair hawk was trippin
Could you do a what if Daniel was still mad at Robby in the tournament
Demitri was always in the right. He spent three months getting bullied and harassed by his most trusted friend and still tried to extend olive branches and be his friend right up until the moment Hawk tipped the beer on his head. He then gives Hawk a thorough lesson in humility both verbally and physically in S2 E 9/10, but then covered for Hawk in S3 E1. After everything Hawk did to Demitri he had far more reason to be antagonistic towards Hawk than S4 Sam did towards S4 Tory, yet the worst Demitri did was sweep him in a soccer game. Then he gets his arm broken and stays away from Hawk all the way up until the finale, and even after EVERYTHING Hawk put him through, Demitri welcomed back Eli with open arms.
Demitri may have had his faults in terms of self-esteem and tact, but he was never in the wrong and he was always a goddam G.O.A.T, so put some respect on the name.
Yeah Demitri was right but if Demitri didn't wrote that thing or if he deleted it Hawk wouldn't have bullied him.
When are you gonna make saitama in dbz part 2
You should make what if hawk never lost his hawk
you should do what if robby was daniels son?
2:34 😂😭
They both have problems, Demetri at first big bear poker, always poking the bear, Hawk acting tough to make up for his flaws. At the end though Daniel did help Hawk, I myself would have liked to see Johnny take Demetri under his wing. I can just see it now he got kicked and Johnny is like good kick tons of power you win one week of one on one training with me and the rest of the Eagle Fang crew. Ass-face 80s music know Sam go get the first aid set. Daniel pray for him.
I don’t get why people made fun of him for the scar it looks cool
It doesn’t but yk
I mean it doesn’t look bad it looks like he got cut and it healed
thanks to demetri hawk knows which dojo would take away his life and which will make it better
What if dimitri joined cobra kai in season 2?
Demetri actually outranks Eli within Miyagi-do because he's more apt at deescalating conflicts than Eli, something that Miyagi-do values.
Mr Miyagi Vs Sato or Daniel Vs Mike Barnes who was right
Mr Miyagi vs Sato. Both of them were right and wrong at some point. Miyagi shouldn't express his love to Yukie infront of the villagers while she was proposed to marry someone else especially his best friend and Sato shouldn't have challenged Miyagi to fight to death just to gain his honor back and about Daniel vs Mike Barnes, Daniel was 100% right. Daniel has a right to compete and not compete in the all valley tournament that is his choice Mike shouldn't have forced him to compete just to gain 50% of cobra kai's dojo and he shouldn't have tortured him for 3 minutes by using violation contact.
Since when was Hawk right?
He was right when he joined miyagi do.
Nah rewatch season 1 demetri was jealous and player hating on hawk after he flipped the script
Yea that’s why I said he was lowkey annoying but that’s really the most it ever was cause he even asked for his advice.
No Demitri wasn't jelious on Hawk the reason why he don't like it is because he knew Eli is becoming a someone else.
@@ezanamelekot6796 fax
I think Hawk was bullied longer than Demetri. So When he finallly got the power he wanted to keep. That means Demetri . Demetri never called him Hawk. The Only Time he called Hawk was sarcrastic .Neither one of dealt with iit. Johnny Lawerence should have talk with Hawk like he did with Miguel.
Hi
demetri shouldnt have touch kreese
Average bakugo deku conflict-
You never mentioned the fact that demetri never respected Eli as hawk and would tear down hawk at any moment so he wouldn't leave him. Demetri is a rich kid who's always everything handed to him and let's he's mouth run.
Demetri was right because Miguel was only a bully in season 1 hawk was worse he broke his arm I mean yeah he’s annoying but you can’t blame the guy he’s just trying to help,
Demitri Is Lame. He Keeps Bashing cobra kai but wont toughen up & join. Then bashes them more online. Hawk took things too far but Demitri was being an L friend. Id just cut him off. I dont need pessimistic, negative energy people like that in mt circle. Bynary brothers or not. Hawk is growing and demitri wants to stay the same
They were both kind of in the wrong. Demetri decided to trash the dojo online & run his mouth.
Hawk became the very thing he wanted fight back against.
Demitri had good reason to trash the Cobra Kai Dojo after getting assaulted by Kreese.
@@jamainegardner4193 True enough. He did escalate things by dropping the fact that Hawk wets the bed.

Love the 3:49 pic of Demetri, shows that he's an evil narcissist. He's always on the wrong, but thinks he's a good guy. He's kinda like Sam (which why a lot hated her, until the last season where she bonded with Johnny and became a better character).
He didn’t really think he was in the wrong
Plus it was literally Demetri being at his limit
@@bootybandit9245 "didn't think", yes he never thinks. He's just an @$$. He's supposed/presented to be a comedy relief/goof character, but just comes out as a narcissist. If you watch Big Bang Theory, he's like Sheldon, someone who has zero emotional IQ that he couldn't understand if someone is hurting or if the things he's saying or doing is hurtful. That's Demetri. He thinks he's always correct, but really, he's the biggest jerk out of all of them. He's trying to play it as "sarcasm" but he's a bully much like everyone else in the show. The only real nice people there were Ayisha, Miguel, and Roby. Sure they make mistakes, but they always try to do the right thing. Unlike Demetri. Has he ever really been a good friend? No. He's only ever been really nice, once. That's when Hawk was confused about who he was and Demetri showed him the math video. That's it.
Romeo Monteverde, until the last season??? People still hate Sam, in fact people have never hated Sam more
@@romeomonteverde Just say you didn't pay attention that's it. The only bad thing was him being annoying everything else wasn't even bad. He helped Hawk get his confidence back in Season 4 after he lost his mohawk and was willing to forgive him despite everything Hawk did to him
@@agnikaineverdies7646 no. They're the same annoying brats, thinking they are the "good guys", but what have they done good? Sam is stringing 2 guys along for the ride. She thought Tori was just some poor girl who knows how to steal and even accused her of stealing her mom's belongings. Dimitri since season one has done anything good, except help Hawk, that one time when he showed their video to cheer him up. All he's ever done was use his friends when they got popular due to karate. He tried talking to Hawk during the party, but when instead of cheering him up, belittled him, making him think he's still a nerd nobody. Then he went onstage and humiliated him some more with that bed wetting story. Some friend. If Miguel was in that situation, he'd either have punched Hawk or walked away. Mental abuse is far worse than having a drink poured on your head. He could've just walked away, and when Moon sees what Hawk did, Hawk would've looked less in Moon's eyes or anybody elses. But what did he do? Humiliate his "bestfriend" in front of everyone. With a Mic and likely with others shooting a vid of him saying that, which will be on the internet forever.
Second bet you won’t pin
You bet right
Here's the thing, Hawk, at first was ok. He just got corrupted too much by the point Kreese came in and took over. Demetri was always a d*ck. He sucks as a person, trying to play the "geek"/"bullied" card while being an @$$, himself.
Here's the thing, if only Demetri went to Johnny or his had his parents talk to Johnny, Johnny could've done something. We all know that despite Johnny not being "PC", he's an ok guy, that's why we all love him.
Nope when miguel told Johnny that kreese ruffed him up he said "he probably deserved it"
@@theinvestigativemillennial9381 , and Johnny was right
I’ve been a Demetri. I’m on Hawk’s side all the way! He may be an asshole but Demetri is pissy because Hawk is going up and is disrupting Demetri’s comfort zone.
Hawk
Oh and another thing. I can't blame Hawk becoming like that, all his life he was bullied, not just for being a nerd, but because of his "lip". He has a lot of anger issues, which was taken advantage of by Kreese. Remember that after the 1st tourney, Johnny realized his mistakes and tried to change the kids too. But Kreese threw gasoline on an already raging fire that was Hawk's anger with everything that happened.
On the other hand, Demetri was always a lazy @$$ bum who takes advantage of his friends. I mean, if he was smart, why was that project that Cobra Kai destroyed so plain, simple, and stupid. I'd bet even prior to this, Hawk was the one truly smart, while Demetri was just a geek trying to pass as a nerd. Math camp? I'd bet Hawk was the best at math and not Demetri. Just look at how he is. When Miguel and Hawk became good at Karate, he used them to try and pick up women (beach scene). When he went to Kreese, he was like "I'm your master and you're my slave because I pay you, just teach me cool stuff" 🙄. Dude, this is a sport. Like anything in life, you have to work hard for it. If he was smart, he'd know that he couldn't get smart by not studying, right? Lazy bum.
Even after getting beaten up and wanting to join Miyagi-do, still the same. He kept whining to Daniel to teach him cool things, yet he can't even do wipe in and wipe out, which is the basic and the whole idea behind miyagi-do (it's true, watch it and that's the foundation for its stellar defense).
Hawk was broken, he found a way out, but when he was doing wrong things and Johnny tried to stop it, the devil (kreese) gaslit him. Demetri, no development at all. Acting all high and mighty but does bad things, sure he has that one moment where he comforts (properly) Hawk after losing everything (the one where he showed the math vid, not the one at the party) and that's it. He's always played the victim card, but up to a certain point, he's the reason for it.
Too many letters, i can just read only just the first two sentences thought from the first degree
