Ghana music does not cut across globally. That is a FACT.
That does not in anyway mean that Ghana is not making great music.
But without acknowledging the facts progress is almost impossible.
If you ask a non Ghanaian to name a Ghanaian music, they will be hard pressed to name beyond Sugarcane.
Because of its desperation for overnight glory, Ghana focuses too much on established artists.
Ultimately the focus should be in upcoming artists and investment in them.
Also focusing on, or trying to compete with Nigeria is a big distraction.
Nigeria keeps on smashing the ceiling, leaving no realistic parameters for anyone to compete.
What’s happening to Nigeria is an anomaly. Apart from the United States and a few European countries, you can count in one hand other countries that have managed to push their music globally.

Andy Dosty once said that Samini is bigger than Don Jazzy. That kind of delusion will continue to suppress Ghanaian music. You guys overhype your artist even the average once. Don Jazzy as a music mogul is bigger than the entire Ghanaian music industry, numbers don't lie. Hissessss.

Entitled Ghanaians. Why wasn’t you guys talking about all these when Americans and Jamaicans were selling out? Whenever Nigeria did something good, Ghana fell entitlement. You can’t force music. You enjoy doing music and great a vibe. Ghana doesn’t have melody and vibes. Most Ghana musicians are rappers and dance halls artists

I’ve heard some Ghanian music and it’s just not 🔥. People outside of Ghana don’t like it, you just can’t force it.

The Dennis guy on the phone was telling you the truth. You guys in studio kept rejecting the truth .your sounds are awful. You are shouting sugarcane. Sugarcane was produced by a nigerian yoruba guy. If you guys like sell your country and give the money to apple music. You still can't beat nigerians in music we are not competing with you we are tackling the world. Accept it or regret it.

How can you have excellent producers and good musicians but your music is not trending?
    Dennis was being mealy mouthed!
Ghana music is dull! It likes sparkle!
Ghanaian pundits are not being sincere!
