We did a prayer bucket a few years ago. We just put names of family and friends on the sticks. We would pull one out and pray specially for that person. It was a great way to be sure that everyone we knew was included in our prayers.

This is such a cute idea! And I've never seen the Walmart Angel Tree at my local store. Every year I always do Santa to a Senior that my local Starbucks coordinates. They have a tree with little paper ornaments on it, each with the name of a local senior citizen in an area nursing home, and a gift they wish to receive. I usually pick one or two ornaments a year and purchase/wrap the gifts written on the ornaments! Whether for kids/seniors/other adults, I think those gift trees are a great idea! It's such a simple way to make someone deserving's Christmas brighter!
I will definitely be checking my local Starbucks! I would love to do the same for a Senior!!

I was the most organized I had ever been last year, lol. Our local library has a bookstore so I picked up a few from there pretty cheap, Target, the Doller Tree, Walmart, HEB.....I didn't have to go out of my way at all to find enough. And I spread out the purchases all throughout November :)
