Trippier is essential in my eyes. I mean would you pick a 6.7 midfielder with his output? Of course you would, plus he gets you more routes to points.
Ok he has nowhere near the same amount of attacking threat as a guy like Diaby or even Gordon

@@fpljosh9661Clean sheets are rare this season plus both Trippier’s hauls came against weakest teams with Newcastle playing without Tonali. Keep Trippier, genius.

Douglas Luiz is a massively overlooked pick. Everyone obsessed with Diaby, Luiz’s stats are strong and he’s only £5.4m. £1.3m saving on Diaby, cheap differential in that Aston Villa midfield, that’s where I’ll be going.
It broke my heart selling alvarez and Trippier 💔 but there was no other way to get salah, son, maddison and watkins 🤠

No Salah is the way to go. It alows Trippier and 2 of Watkins/Darwin/Alvarez to play in a 3 with Haaland. Then you have Diaz to minimose the Salah threat. The spare cash makes for a stronger bench too (Neto first sub).
My exact draft basically... also allows for Saka / Odegaard

Don’t follow experts mate, they’re also an FPL player just like the rest of us, they aren’t from the future and aren’t gonna give you the best solution every week, if they did then everyone would be rank 1 LMAO.. Go with your heart and do whatever you like to enjoy the game, that’s what FPL is all about ❤️
Where is the Lamptey pick coming from? Estupinan will only miss a couple of games given the international break and then you have a non useable player. Taylor the better 3.9 option for me.

there are several other ways, one is to play four at the back, another is to play neto/alvarez/diaby as the three cheap ways in and finally by having no bench at all, withseveral cheap enablers in. I'm debating these three options but there's a bit less balance for sure.@@ArtVandelay77
Bakar's rank is always bad. He makes a good living out of being bad though. The jokes on me 😂. Always was going to be the absolute template wildcard wasn't it. I much prefer the green arrow guys. The best the hub have. At least they have their own mind. I can't take this guy seriously. The host is decent though tbf

If you wildcard now it needs to last until GW30ish? Except for the 20 free transfers you can make to get a completely different team twice.
You get two wildcards per season.
NO Haaland allows for Alvarez Nunez and Watkins up top plus a strong 5 man midfield
im 70% going without halaand and i hope alvarez is good city coverage and could then afford son maddison diaz darwin watkins diaby salah trippier cash porro and then two 3.9 (lamptey and taylor) + areola/ turner and have 1.8 in the bank
Some reasons why I think going without halaand in the next gws could be worth it:
- dont think a lot of ppl will be captaining halaand in the next couples fixtures which limits damage
- halaand has not performed well in derby games (I read somewhere that he got 6 points in the same fixtures last season ) ***past results don't guarantee future performance but he does seem not perform so well with toucher opponents (if you can consider man utd/ brighton as tougher opponents)
his hatricks have come against weaker opposition (crystal palace, n forest, man utd (ha), wolves
- no kdb (halaands performances last year did depend on kdb to some or large degree)
However going in this route means that you will need to have a plan to get him back (for my team that would depend on selling either son/ salah + 1 (2 transfers) so its not that bad but tolerable (?) - the timing of this move will also need to be thought out (do i get him back for bournemouth at home when I can seriously lose on points? or do i wait since he plays liverpool spurs and aston villa) - could mean that I go without halaand up to gw16 which sounds insane
Some issues with my team is that I will have a benching headache as it looks like i will be benching diaby in the next 2 gws
It would be so much easier if he gets injured :)
Of which you can only ever play 7, so you'll be benching a strong option and watching Haaland scored 35+ goals this season
yea its tricky and its quite likely i will be need to him back in once he scores a few goals or outperforms darwin watkins alvarez, but i dont think its such a bad idea
