Overspirituality definitely does exist especially in navigating relationships. And not overspiritual does not mean overChristian, it is not possible to be too much of a Christian. But very possible to use spirituality to coerce, manipulate and control.

I haven't had a terrible year emotionally, healthwise, and family wise. However, lately, I have been in the pits. The episode has made me realize that we are all having a difficult time despite the wins.

Ben you asked a good question on whether life is always going to be hard. Chats with older people have revealed that your 20's are hard because you are trying to figure life out. In your 30's and 40's life becomes real very quickly and there are more responsibilities and you feel weighed down. Then you get to your 50's and you have perspective of the past and feel your mortality. That leads you to being more free and relaxed but then your physical body is also changing. So life is hard - but the meaning of that changes throughout different phases of life.
Just thought of Earnest Wamboye and Waturi when you mentioned religion topics!..... Guys, this will be it! Lovely couple who are VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE in all things marriage and God. I think y'all are very capable in bridging the gap in that topic in this internet streets. More grace on whichever steps to get to your goal.
