I've always been fascinated with Scandinavian countries and now that I've just come back to my home country (Italy) I missed those amazing places so much. People were well mannered indeed and everything seemed so well cared after!
I liked Norway the best because of its diverse landscape and I decided to learn the language to come back again and be able to converse freely with natives.
Thanks for making this video series!

Can somebody please explain the translation of “Hvordan står det til?”?
    Hvordan - How
    Står - Stands
    Det - The
    Til - To/For
That means the sentence says either:
    “How stands the to?”
    or
    “How stands the for?”
How can this possibly mean “How’s it going?”
    I’m so confused 🤷‍♂️

He said it literally means "How's it standing" so probably the "det" and "til" are suposed to be "is it"? I dont know hahaha I'm just as confused as you.

When pronouncing "er", it sounds like the letter d at the end. Is that right?

Hmm not really. I think it’s more due to how the Norwegian r sounds

Adjø is found in other languages like Spanish (but they use it to simply say bye) or French (where they only use it to say goodbye if they won't ever see the person again; adieu, à Dieu, to God, as in they'll see each other after death)
