Curtis Potter and The National Swing Band of Texas

This is live recording from our album that we did in 2001. I played lead trumpet and also acted as musical director. The band was operated by a friend on mine in Quanah, Texas, Bill Price. The country players were from all over Texas. The horn players were mostly from the Wichita Falls area.

I saw Curtis at the White Horse Bowling
Alley (Frontier Room) in NJ with Hank Thompson. I was in the house band.
Curtis, you've still got it!

Ive been looking for a video of this band for years. Any idea whether one exists? I love their brassy sound..sort of Doc Sevrensen meets Bob Wills.
