The wooden frog - you take the little stick out and run it across the 'ribs' on the frog's back, and it makes frog noises 🐸 love your antique videos!

With that wooden frog, I think the stick is used to rub along the frog's spine for a nice wooden sound. I believe I saw a video by WhispersRed ASMR years ago where she used one. I can't remember if it is an Asian musical instrument, like a sound therapy device like with singing bowls. But, it was kind of cool.

Maybe nobody else feels this way, but I love the way antique stores smell. Yeah, they smell like musty moth balls, but it reminds me of going to my grandparents' house and my great-great aunt's house as a kid, and it's a nice feeling. Plus the antique furniture reminds me of the stuff they had. It just makes me happy; I don't know. :)
I’m the same way! I collect vintage electronics and I have to take a big ol’ sniff once I open them up. I can’t get enough of the smells!
@@SouthernASMRSounds i agree! something about antique store and thrift stores smells like my grandmother’s basement where she kept lots of pine furniture and handmade quilts. it was always so quiet and peaceful down there!

Awesome video, Mary. Your whispered videos, especially, are my favourite! Also, fun fact 😂 my Acadian grandparents did a complete overhaul of their living room furniture, including new table lamps. But this was around 2012, and she paid extra and got custom made tassels for the lamp shades 🤣 seeing that lamp in this video made me think of it lol

Hello Ms Mary. I consider you as my friend after all those videos I've watched! I adore the voice over videos you make, the soft spoken ones. Unfortunately I can't watch the whisper voice, it has the opposite effect of relaxation on me. Could you do more voice over soft spoken tours around shops? That would be lovely❤. Thank you for all the work you do for us.
The wooden frog with the stick....if you rub the stick along its back, it makes a croaking sound. Sounds just like a frog.

my mom, my boyfriend and i have been living with my moms boyfriend for years. he has been extremely abusive to my mom but we have nowhere else to go. he is talking about kicking us out now and we are most likely going to be homeless, because my mom gets SSI and only gets so much money a month. your videos are the only thing that really gets me through the days anymore. thank you and i’m sorry if that was way too much 😂💕
